sid was late to detention that morning, on account of his father refusing to let him use the car as a punishment for getting caught sneaking in the night before. black converse move across the linoleum, taking a seat in one of the few remaining desks in the room. ( one which, unfortunately, happened to be in the very front. ) the whole thing was a joke in his opinion, he didn’t see the point in sitting here. if anything, it was just a way to waste everyone’s time. which is why he brought his walkman as a distraction, headphones resting over ears as he drops his backpack and skateboard to the floor next to the empty desk.
but all too quickly, and very much to his annoyance, is told to remove them and focus on something ‘ more productive ’ in the eyes of williams. sid’s about mid - eye - roll when alice walks in, gaze drifting to the door and smirking to himself as williams questions their tardiness to something as important as a saturday morning detention. but even though he thinks its amusing, he can’t help but wonder, what the hell had the cheerleader done to wind up here of all places ?
he’s skilled at keeping himself busy, having been a master of doing so since he was a kid, and wastes his time drawing on the pages of a spiral notebook. and he’s so completely immersed in his newest creation, that he doesn’t even notice when their administrator falls asleep at his desk. thought, it’s not like it matters anyway, they’re stuck there until three. unless, of course, they want to do the whole thing over the next weekend. but alice’s voice serves as a distraction, head turning slightly as green eyes lift from his drawings to focus upon. surprisingly enough, they did have a point. and he glances towards the desk at the front of the room, a devilish expression forms upon features before he turns back towards. leaning back in his chair, he takes a moment to think, before setting his pen down and lifting a hand to tuck loose hair behind his ears. ❛❛ there’s only one way to find out. ❜❜
