In a podcast with Voice & Verse songwriter and producer Sam Hollander, who has worked with pop punk bands such as All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, and Metro Station, shares that while working with We The Kings on their debut album, the band wanted their name to be Check Yes Juliet…to which he was completely opposed to because it was “a terrible name.”
