whenever people adapt the story of jekyll and hyde they always make the main focus of the story the conflict between jekyll and hyde, how they hate each other, how they fight each other for control of the body, how they are at odds and how one always tries to tear down what the other built.

we need a story that puts its main emphasis on the first half of the tale, you know, the part where jekyll creates hyde, the part where jekyll actually likes being hyde and every night he deliberatly chooses by his own will to drink that potion and become that guy, because he wants to transform into hyde.

we need a story that focuses on the period of time where they are both on the same page, working together, plotting together, sneaking around on their own house not to get caught. where hyde will fucking trample over a little girl, stepping all over her, and then jekyll will come out all charming and pay restitution to the family and pretend nothing happened.
