Had the urge to play SOS:GB again since it’s been months.
Getting back into things was a bit stressful since I forgot lots, but I’m struggling so so much to fit in other tasks in the day to do. I barely have been talking to people much + I have requests for fish but I barely have time to fish or get lucky to get medium and large fish :’)
But I got a horse and won the horse derby! Levelled up my bazaar to rank 4, won the crop festival, unlocked Samir, saw a few events and my final unlock for the day was the final windmill!!
Still unsure who I’ll romance but it’s a tie between Diana and Samir.
On a side note- I have a new switch now (my boyfriend kindly gave me his oled as he has the switch 2 now) I also do have a new pc (my previous laptop died on me :’) ) which means I can actually play my pc farming games again (and pride parade!!) but with much much much better specs now. Not sure when I’ll play them again as I have been having really low energy and not much motivation + lots and lots of pain but thankfully I have a new desk chair and some better ergonomic stuff. But I also just want to complete something 😭
Had some motivation again to pick up my save for story of seasons, I’m pretty much nearly done almost all my goals in the game, but I just recently hit summer which means I’m almost halfway there to finishing up these goals! I’m just a few more pink diamonds short of getting my pink mansion and waiting for my twins to grow up + just a few more animals I want to get!
Since I spent most of y1 and y2 grinding for the trade depots and romancing Nadi, I barely had much golden crops unlocked so I’ve been doing it as a minor thing to do in the background while I just wait lol. Haven’t bothered to still do the various rival farmer stuff (never really enjoyed the system tbh and wasn’t a fan of being locked out of things because I couldn’t just win the plot orz)
Flower festival passed and I realized I just unlocked the livestock mansion and luxury coop so I could have the matching set with my house! My farm is still a huge mess, I never bothered to make it cute or anything, but I might downsize later on and figure out a way to plan it out, I’m not sure!
I’m hoping I can finish up these goals soon, this is my childhood save but I revisited it in around 2022? I just have spurts of motivation when it comes to these games to finish things so I only come back when I don’t feel burnt out..)
I wanted to head back into RF GOA to finish up some stuff and also tackle post game, which meant the hardest part of the game- picking a spouse! Now we wait for the turnip babies and post game dungeon to unlock!

Long ramble under the cut!
Honestly it’s genuinely hard when you have such a wonderful cast! I haven’t seen much of the dating bond quests besides the first dates for Fubuki, Pilika and Mauro (and Kanata lol) these guys were my top 4 choices (although Cuilang and Kurama are also fairly high up) and in the end I settled with Kanata!
Her events were genuinely funny and I’m a huge sucker for characters voiced by Allegra Clark! She always does an amazing job, but I adored her as Kanata so much. She’s silly, a big crybaby, tries to be prim and proper but also she tries so hard to be her best. And she’s adorable! And to be honest at first when they showed off the characters in Azuma I didn’t really pay much attention to Kanata.. then I heard Allegra and was like- instantly on my radar right here right now. I always end up loving characters voiced by Allegra lol.
I also noticed how she’s not as popular? Or at the very least according to steam achievements she’s the lowest bachelorette (and Mauro is the lowest bachelor :( my poor baby) I think it’s also because she joins fairly later on? I guess by the time she joins most people would have an idea on who they want to marry? Since after her it’s just Kaguya/Subaru and Clarice. But once again my fave ends up being like… the least popular bachelor(ette) I guess haha.
Either way overall her romance is cute! Plus her and Kaguya look adorable together! I settled on for calling her “Honey” (initially I wanted to use Wifey but I liked her reaction to Honey a bit more) and she calls Kaguya “Dear” which she says how much she wanted to say that after marriage or something similar to that- so of course I had to give that one! She also gives a lot of curry dishes for her spouse lunches and gave me a cutlet sandwich and also a fruit sandwich.
For the record, here’s her nicknames for marriage:
To call Subaru/Kaguya- Darling, Dear, Mama (I’m assuming Subaru gets Papa?) , My Little Plum, Princess (and same for above, assuming Subaru gets Prince) , Sweetheart.
For the player to call her-Mama, Kana, Wifey, My Light, Cutie-Pie, Honey
I didn’t want to share ALL of her wedding stuff, but she does have a silly interaction with the gods and a sweet one with Rin. I also had no idea that Subaru would be the one to overlook the wedding? I guess Rin will do it if you marry the other protagonist ?
Either way thanks for reading my rambles! I’ll be posting more stuff with Kanata soon but I’ll probably have a small break from Azuma once my main save is done with post game content. I’ll probably do a few fates, but I won’t be doing a Subaru run until I get a pc copy (and new laptop or steamdeck :’) ) my other posts won’t be as long as this as well, I just wanted to ramble on Kanata for a bit!
