happy pride month here's gambit blowing up a bunch of transphobes
So Nez managed to take a photograph in one of his dreams.
While recording the lead vocal for 1967’s “The Door Into Summer” at RCA, Mike Nesmith of The Monkees wasn’t happy with the echo effect, so the engineers strung a microphone from Studio A to the men's bathroom, where Mike did his vocal. – Photo from Mike Nesmith’s private collection.
You can hear Nesmith flush the urinal just before an alternate take on the "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd." box set.
The liner notes also mention that this photo was the only Monkees era picture that Nesmith displayed in his home.
is this anything 🚬
and for the Real Ones - this specific pic of mike always makes me think of that one damon albarn shower photoshoot so i'll just leave this here as well
Michael Nesmith always thought he was ugly.
Look at this.
mike "its so hard to sing" nesmith pulling a perfect wax minute out of his pussy:
He spends so much time smiling directly into the camera in this video. I really think Cruisin’ has the most smiley Nez in all his work combined.
He felt hot for once and milked it!
What’s her problem? She always looks like a bitch
He was so unrealistically proportioned.
How was he able to do anything without snapping in half?
Where did the food go?
He was drawn by a fan artist, I refuse to believe that Monkee Mike was real.
Rogue list Remy this year and Gus lost his budgie friend, so his owner and I got him neutered so he could live with Rogue.
Their first Christmas together and they are as happy as guinea pigs who have had hats balanced on their heads for a photo can be!

That time Nez felt cute.

Pootle’s first Christmas photoshoot.
He was a good boy, but baffled!
Topanga turned 2 last week and was ‘thrilled’ to wear her birthday hat.
The paper plate party made up for it!
Topanga has been lonely since Kochanski died. I tried introducing her to Remy and Rogue, but Rogue wouldn’t accept her.
I found a guinea pig rescue in south west London and arranged to take her there to have an introduction and bonding session with one of their neutered boars.
They had 4 lined up to meet her but she fell for boar number 1.
Meet Pootle, he’s 16 months old and is a tricolour Rex breed. He has been here a week and has embraced unlimited floor time just as much as he’s embraced Topanga!
Kochanski died this morning.
I couldn’t even tell until I picked her up to give her the painkiller.
She was laying comfortably and still looked like she was just watching me spot cleaning the cage, which is what I started to do after saying hello and seeing she was still alive when I woke up.
While she was dying she still moved around a lot, going from one favourite spot to another, Topanga took such good care of her. She kept nuzzling her face and licking her eyes.
Kochanski raised Topanga from a baby and I’m sure it gave her at least another year of life. She loved being an auntie.
Topanga has lived with her for nearly a year and a half and I’m going to try to bond her with Remy and Rogue. Rogue can be difficult though so it might not work.
The photos are from Monday, the one of Topanga taking care of her is the last photo of Kochanski.
She was 6 1/2 years old. She was a good girl.
Remy LeBoar and Kochanski had some milestones recently.
Remy was 3 years old and Kochanski celebrated six years since she came home from the rescue.
Remy LeBoar wants everyone to know he is not dead. He is sad that his namesake is gone but assures everyone you can’t keep a good Remy down.
For example, our Mr Remy went suddenly and completely blind a month ago. His health is otherwise all good and this is a lesson to bad breeders to stop doing what they’re doing. His genetics turned his dark pink Gambit eyes white, but otherwise he’s still his happy, chilled out self and he adapted so quickly that I’m very proud of him. Rogue is also helping him be his usual happy self.
So trust Remy LeBoar, Remy LeBeau isn’t gonna let a little thing like exploding stop him.
Every time I see Kochanski doing anything I’m all “Kochanski! Hey sweetie! How you doing? You’re eating hay? That so awesome!” Like I’m just so chuffed she’s still alive.
She’s SO skinny and sleeps so much and she’s 6 now and I have so much old lady solidarity with her that every day is like a big deal with her.
