Year One: Day 242 While leaving him, whether for a day, a week, or longer is never easy, it's all worth it when I come home and see his face. The look in his eyes as he slowly realizes who I am; the reaction when he remembers he hasn't seen me in a few days. That experience is magic. It's me experiencing the true love that only comes from being a parent for the first time all over again. The leaving is difficult, but coming home is the only true magic in this universe. #lifeofdad #dadlife
