Tomas Freyr Kristjánsson (Iceland) - Active Volcano

The Icelandic photographer Tomas Freyr Kristjánsson recently braved the high temperatures of molten magma in order to get as close as possible to an erupting volcano. Captured at Holuhraun volcano in the heart of Iceland, these extraordinary photographs show exploding magma craters in the air.
