characters

Verena- she is caring and has a tendency to mother those close to her. she’s the type to show up after you have a break up with cookies and fluffy blankets to have a movie night. she is loyal to fault and will do anything for those she is close with.

raven- she is Verena’s younger sister. she is excitable and attentive. she loves the people close to her and will listen to them rant about their interests for hours on end. she is emotional but very easy to please. she is impulsive and reckless though, and it doesn't always end well. 

im currently working on a doc that goes more in depth on their characters but this is what i have for now.

Virgil frowned when he saw her, and slowly walked towards her. “Raven?” he asked gently, “Are..you okay?”

she jumped up and hugged him. she just cried. “me and andres b-broke up.”

Virgil hugged her close, trying to keep his spark of anger in control. “He what?? Why, what happened?”

“there wasn’t a big fight. things just weren’t working. he didn’t feel comfortable in the relationship and i didn’t want to force them so we broke up.” she explained.

Virgil hums and nods with a frown. “I’m sorry that happened, it sucks when relationships don’t work out, but there’s plenty of other fish in the sea.”

“i know. it still hurts though.” she hugs him again.

“I know it does…” he said quietly, hugging her gently. “But you won’t hurt forever, I promise.”

“can we watch a movie?” she asked.

“Yeah, of course, we can watch anything you want.”

“what about monsters inc.?”

Virgil smiles and nods. “Course, do you want any snacks?”

“you can choose.” she said. she got up to get blankets.

Virgil nods and goes to make some popcorn, and gets some chocolate for them to share.

raven smiles standing in front of her house the next day. andres stood beside her. after some reassurance, xe followed raven in

“Hey Raven,” Virgil said as he glanced up at her, going serious when he sees Andres. “Oh, this is Andres?”

xe nods quietly. raven nudges him. “y-yes. im andres. you’re virgil?” xe asks, cursing xyself for stuttering

[r-r-raf]

“Yeah, that’s me, Raven’s older brother,” he said as he looked at xem sternly, “Nice to meet you.”

“nice to meet you too.” he holds out his hand to shake. xe obviously wasn’t good in social settings. raven just stayed quiet, which was unusual for her.

Virgil shakes xyr hand, glancing between him and Raven. “Right. So, you wanna take Raven out on a date?”

“yessir, if that would be okay with you” he speaks quickly. xe scratches the back of his head. raven puts a hand on xyr shoulder. he calms down significantly.

He narrows his eyes at him suspiciously. “What’re your intentions with her, hm?”

“to have a nice relationship with her that doesn’t hurt either of us” xe was starting to gain some confidence. they seemed more sure of themselves.

“Sweet,” Virgil says flatly, “You two Can go on a date, but I’m gonna keep a close eye on you. And if you hurt her at all I’ll make sure I hurt you ten times worse, understood?”

“understood.” xe nods. “promise you i won’t hurt her.” he smiles. xe puts an arm around her waist and she puts one across his shoulders

Virgil smiles at xem slightly and nods. “Alright, you have my permission then. Don’t get too friendly.”
