Window to a time that still parallels to today

While we, Meishi Smile, were on tour a couple months back we did a small set for KPSU. Words shared in this audio still echo to today's dehumanization on the immigrant community.

Joseph Turner, one of the founders of American Children First Foundation, has used his organization to dehumanize the marginalized. After failed attempts of trying to ban immigrant children from the public school in San Bernardino,his organization and other trump supporters are now trying to defund sanctuary areas like Cudahy and Huntington Park. Not only are they trying to defund those sanctuary cities but they're also harassing people of color in those cities and inviting anti-immigrant groups to aid them in their mission. These cities are only a few miles away from Los Angeles, a place that's supposed to serve as a sanctuary city. We must stand up and defend these cities that are near our homes because the criminals in the criminal justice department are not only too busy killing our black sister and brothers to help us, but are also defending those dehumanizing organizations. Meishi Smile and Thought Tempo tours with Infinity Shred in support of their new LP "Even Further" Surreal to think that I'll be doing the very same thing that I dreamt of doing as a child. We'll be sharing our anger and hope at every city visit.
