2. Favorite vampire story (post-20th century)?

This is a tough choice for me. "Favorite" is a difficult term, especially when it comes to the varied content out there.

If I had to pick just one I'd probably pick Monogatari. The Kizumonogatari trilogy is a really good vampire story in and of itself, but the entire series has vampirism scattered throughout.

I have Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade on my arm, after all.

It's a really long series but the payoff, especially with regards to the vampire plot itself, is so incredibly good. It's a non-traditional pick for sure, since it is nothing like other vampire media, but it deserves more attention.

It is a series I don't recommend often but fuck it's so good.
