We have lost too many of the “old school” politicians who made a career of uniting us. In an age of deny, defy, divide, and deceive, his straightforwardness will be sorely missed. I only hope young people in politics ask a simple question before they react to the “baiting “ so prevalent today.....WWJLD.... what would John Lewis do?

Legendary singer-songwriter John Prine dead at 73 due to coronavirus complications

The tragic news comes roughly two months after Prine received a Lifetime Achievement honor at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.

As a lifelong Chicago music scene member, I need to thank you for so many smiles and the honesty of your music. I hope you and Steve Goodman are together again.

I will still continue to think of you every time I see a bowl of oatmeal.........
