What's more fun than going back to visit your highschool friends to find that your best friends were assholes? Why the hell didn't I spend more time with my other friends? They're much better people.
Open question
A friend of mine in another country cut herself earlier this year, she got help for it and doesn't seem likely to do it again. But since then I'm constantly nervous when she's offline for too long, this wasn't a terrible issue for a while, but now that vacation has started and I don't have school work to distract me it's getting bad. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this?
Fun Fact #38
If you were to take Mein Kamp by Adolf Hitler and replace references to Jews with references to Mexicans, you would essentially have Donald Trump's political campaign.

I wore a dress in public recently. I got into a discussion with some college friends, one friend said that she doesn't like wearing the dresses that she had because she sees them as too feminine and another friend was afraid of feeling emasculated if seen using a brightly colored umbrella that he got.
I decided to borrow a dress from the girl to try to show that there's nothing wrong with being feminine sometimes, the group didn't seem quite convinced as I didn't really wear the dress in public, so I decided to wear the dress to the dining hall for dinner. Now I can bring that up any time anyone says they're afraid of looking ridiculous or being questioned.
For both of the dress wearing sessions I wore different dresses and I think I pulled them off quite well:

Is it unhealthy to be stuck in a room alone without anyone to talk to for the majority of every day as you complete weeks worth of English work in a day, writing about the topic of Euthanasia which you chose because it seems like the most interesting choice of things to write about but now just leaves you stuck with only your own thoughts on mortality and you can't even talk to friends to distract yourself from the inescapable wall of mystery that we're all approaching and will slam into in our own time; leaving our bodies a broken, possibly disfigured and definitely irrelevant mess?
Fun Fact #37
You probably do not exist, if you doubt that this is a fact you can think of it this way: Most things do not exist.
You can prove this by taking 5 words at random and assemble them in random order, you have most likely created a sentence that makes no sense. Now think of a scenario in which that sentence would be appropriate, feel free to adjust whatever rules of reality are necessary. This scenario that you have constructed probably does not exist or even make sense, if you repeat this exercise many times you will find that the vast majority of scenarios you make up do not exist which demonstrates how most scenarios do not exist and we shall induce that therefore most things don't exist.
Now that we have proven that, you can look at the probability that one of these random sentences or scenarios make sense, we can assume that the probability of anything existing is similar to this amount. now think of yourself on this scale. Perhaps the probability of things existing is so small that you haven't interacted with a single existing thing in your life.
Now consider: what if everything you did interact with was just a part of the ridiculous made up scenario that would act as a context in which you would make sense?

I had my first confrontation with someone because of my defiance of gender roles, this person was my mother. Backstory:
Genetically I am male, but I don't feel that my gender is really part of my identity. I go by male pronouns out of convenience, but I really wouldn't care if I was referred to as female or other (I'd prefer it in some settings, to see the surprised looks on some people's faces).
A few months ago I decided to start shaving my legs, I was tired of the way my leg hair would get caught in wrinkles in clothing. After shaving my legs the first time I also noticed that it feels amazing; sheets, pant legs, anything that touched my shin area felt great, I had no idea how much sensation I was missing out on.
Then I moved. where I lived it was generally cold and I never really saw the need to wear shorts, but where I am now shorts are basically a necessity. because of this, my mother noticed that I shave my legs and we proceeded to have this discussion:
Her: Why are you shaving your legs?
Me: … Because I don’t like having hairy legs
Her: But you’re a guy
Me: So?
Her: Guys don’t shave their legs
Me: I do
Her: But you’re a guy
Me: I am me, I don’t care what other guys do
Her: You don’t think they’re going to make fun of you for this?
Me: I don’t care if they make fun of me for this
Her: It’s ridiculous
Me: Then I am a ridiculous person
I felt the need to write this. Partially, I guess, because I'm a bit surprised that it happened, I didn't expect my mother to try to talk me out of this practice, I didn't expect her to care. And partially because I'm a bit proud of it, I did my best to seem confident but for some reason I actually felt a little embarrassed when she brought it up...
Good luck to anyone out there going through anything similar, especially if it's on a larger scale than one person bringing up a small practice.
I hope you found this worth your time if you read it all, have a wonderful life.
Open question
Some weird stuff has been going on around me recently. Does anyone have any tips on how to cheer up someone who's best friend left her (I am still in contact with said friend, in case that information is helpful)?
When you get this, write 5 things that make you happy, and then send it to the last 10 people in your activity <3
1. Making people laugh
2. Understanding a new concept, usually in physics or math
3. When my latest programming project starts working (knowing why it starts working is preferable but unnecessary)
4. Making people feel awkward on my behalf, myself not feeling awkward at all
5. The sentence "My mind is like a well oiled eagle" from a Filmcow video
Helpful advice #1
if i ever met a genie i wouldnt wish for a million dollars id wish that whenever i bought something i’d always have the right amount of money to pay for it in my pocket
you are one of the great thinkers of our time
While on the surface this seems like a good idea, it's actually pretty terrible. Genies love to make your trick go wrong; How could it go wrong? The genie could make the money appear only in pennies, a small purchase being enough to flood your pocket and be too much to deal with. If you get too excited and make a really large purchase you can end up dead, crushed under the weight of all those pennies

The reason penguins are flightless is because they have nowhere to fly.
"Where would they go?" an advocate of this theory asked rhetorically. "South? I think not"

I hope they make a live action movie of Fairly Odd Parents in which The Crimson Chin is played by Matt Smith
