List of Concepts and ideas I want for Playable Dottore (with no particular order):
NOT a Main DPS, not every Harbinger or Ex Harbinger needs to be one to be a cool character goddamn, especially if this dude is gonna have the title of "The Doctor" let him fulfill literally any other role, I would rather it be a Sub DPS.
I want him to wield legit any other weapon but catalyst, because its sooo overused at this point most of the characters that had been coming out use it and it gets boring, give him any other weapon and be creative with his attacks and animation. Personally I think Claymore is a great option, especially if they do something similar to Kaveh animations who basically makes the weapon fly around him lol.
Elements could be Cryo, Electro or Dendro. Cryo cause it fits his color palette and could be a nice oportunity to introduce Lunar Freeze, Electro cause he deals with machinery and stuff and Dendro because y'know he is a child of Sumeru and how ironic would be if he ends up with the element of the region that "rejected" him, especially if his story gonna be about getting to reconnect with it or something.
Syringes on gameplay, not just as aesthetic and decoration but also serving some kind of purpose to the combat. Like, inyecting poison on the enemies or inyecting the team members with buffs or something, playing into the idea that even as an ally fighting by our side he would still do his little experiments and inyecting his bullshit substances on people, I love it when characters have canonical explanations for their gameplay mechanics.
Some sort of healing or health drain mechanic, maybe both. Cause C'mon his title is legit "The Doctor" and he is known for fucking around with living being's bodies it would make so much sense, Idc if he ends up being Furina 2.0.
His burst should be the opposite of Columbina, the screen doing a big close up to his creepy face, seeing him smile menancingly while releasing his attack (maybe even putting on his mask).
As for his model I can't decide if I want him with long or short hair, I like both but if its short it should be the one we are used to without any big changes, if its long alright but please dont just put extensions to the short hair I hate when characters look like they have it short on the front but long on their backs lol.
I had already said this befor but make it so we can choose him wearing his mask or have his face bare, I want to get to have both.
If they're gonna redesign his mask I hope they go for a way simpler design that wont be a pain in the ass to draw, saying this as a fanartist.
As for the face design... Honestly I dont have a specific idea, I'm open to anything. Him having his pretty red eyes, robotic pieces, something totally new, one eye (?), a face full of scars, idk I feel he will look amazing with anything, I would just be bummed if they gave him boring unexpresive NPC eyes but thats unlikely.
Also he needs to have visible spiky teeth.
Whatever they do to his outfit, at least he should still have a lab coat, even if its a new one.
A very special relationship with the traveler that makes his character lines show off their unique dynamic and him and have his lines be rather outputting or feel like threats.
And lastly on the photo thing one of the alternative faces he gets should be a big grin that shows off his shinny menancing teeth.
But these are just my takes and ideas, I'm sure I will not be disapoined with whatever they will com up with for this guy.
