Finally got some matte black paint for the interior on the Honda. Got all the interior parts primed, painted, detailed, and glued into the chassis. Now it’s time for the underbody and it’ll be done!

Went to a local Scale Model Show and there were a couple of vendors there selling kits of pretty much everything you could imagine besides cars. I didn’t see any good Japan-made kits for the most part. Then I walked towards the end off the hall and spotted a table with some Aoshima, Tamiya, Hasegawa, and Revell car kits. Decided to pick up a racecar to move out of my comfort zone (considering I’ve never built one since large amounts of decals scare me) and a street car. The R31 was opened and the F3000 was sealed. Both kits for a whopping $25!

Pt. 1

This is what I’ve been working on for the past couple of months. A Honda EK Sedan from Revell that my amazing girlfriend got me for Christmas! Going to put on some wheels from an Aoshima Toyota AE86 Levin (check my previous posts to see the completed AE86). I’m at a standstill right now with this kit since I ran out of paint, so now I’m working on an F1 kit I picked up at a local scale model show.

Just finished a 1/24 scale replica of my 1985 (Zenki) Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex. It’s a mashup of Fujimi body and Aoshima chassis, interior, and wheels. Lots of little details that make this a true replica.

Have been doing 1/24 scale cars for awhile now. Decided to go out of my comfort zone and get a 1/12 scale Monkey Bike! Since my local hobby store doesn’t carry Aoshima I ordered it all the way from Japan, but it was well worth the wait. I’m going to start on this kit tonight!
