As a note, I took some inspiration from Framed (the Mario Mix version of Curse) and based the curse on something that actually happened to the hedgehog. I also think him and Framed could get alone well they deserve it

He’s still trans bi (he’s bi right I don’t remember his actual sexuality but I think he bi) and polygamous (he dated Elise and Knuckles before they, you know, fucking died) (I’m not sure if he’s still dating anyone in the present day tho) so does this count as a pride post

A version of Sonic where the timeline was never reset after Sonic 06. Solaris never returned, but something else horrible happened. Since the timeline wasn’t reset, Sonic had still died. And while he was revived, the effects of this began to hurt… everyone involved, really.

It started with Robonik, simply having never gotten up after another one of his robots collapsed on him. Then, fatal accidents started happening to random people Sonic didn’t know while he was nearby, slowly becoming more and more often. This was…new.

It got worse, Sonic would throw up blood, blood stained black. It got harder to move without pain, he couldn’t really run fast anymore.

And then Knuckles died. The two were alone when there was a rockslide. Knuckles was dead and Sonic was scarred. Scars that couldn’t really heal.

Everyone blamed him for it, except Elise, who let him stay at her castle. No one knew he was there, as he never left. He couldn’t eat or drink properly anymore.

Then the castle caught fire. That’s when they knew there was a death curse. People called him Curse, and he hated it. Tails however, took pity on him, and built an inter-dimensional device, in hopes Sonic could find a cure. He cut all contact with his home world after, afraid trying to contact Tails would kill the fox.

He smiles and claims he’ll shake this all off once the cure’s found, but it’s now impossible for that confident hedgehog to come back. Who know if he’d even return home at this point?
