been using this blog a lot lately so i figured i should make a pinned post

my name is bennett, i also go by klfette/fette! he/they pronouns

i use this blog when i get obsessed with something. in my mind, it's inherently embarrassing. i know it shouldn't be but the shame of being "that kid that won't shut up about xyz" runs deep. yes I'm autistic

this blog started as being for ducktales in 2017, thus the themeing. since then there's been phineas and ferb, batman, and a few other things. currently (as of may 2025), i'm really into back to the future

i write! my ao3 is reddew. i have a genficcer's temperament and mostly do shortish one shots, with a few exceptions.

i don't know why i always find it so incredibly cute the fact that doc always has a pet dog in every single one of his appearances. and each of them has the name of a scientist. he has copernicus in 1955, newton in 1967 and einstein in 1985. i simply cannot help but be like "aaaaawwwwww" every time i randomly remember it.

One of the funny things about getting into Back to the Future is realizing how insanely culturally ubiquitous it is. Your favorite youtuber is using clips of it. Character designs are based on it. You go to a movie and the school dance is Back to the Future themed for basically no reason at all. People are making allusions all the goddamn time, sometimes without even realizing it. Her influence.....

Sometimes when I’m following a flight of fancy, I like to imagine that do to meddling with time, Marty inadvertently changed the course of life for the high school band audition judge that told Marty he was “just too darn loud.”

Maybe that teacher was at The Enchantment Under the Sea Dance and heard Marty cut such a rug that he went on to create his own band called Huey Lewis and the News.

And the reason he writes this song with such specific dialogue to Marty’s situation is based on bits and pieces he hears from the exchanges between Doc and Marty around Hill Valley in 1955 through 1985.

But that’s just me.

It was brief... but for a moment, Citizen Brown heard an echo of laughter. It was his own... mixed with children laughing and a woman's laughter. The image flashed in his eyes... a woman was kissing him on the cheek, the two of them hugging two boys close to them, a little girl hanging off his shoulders. The warmth that seeped into his being was something he had not experienced in quite some time.

Could... it actually be true? That some where... in some time... he was actually... happy...?

I have a fun head canon that sometimes people can have visions of the other timelines. Be it the good or bad. Sometimes the memory sticks, sometimes they don't. Might even be written off as a dream. But to some extent, the time stream has a way of showing glimpses at random under the right circumstances.
