I had this lady all ready to go, but her god damn heart gem got stuck. I had to reskin her, take off her shell, and do furby open heart surgery. But she's so stinking cute. So I'm not too mad. Fair warning to anyone customizing the 2023 furby, don't fuck with the heart gem. It's not worth it. Plus, added a picture at the end of the lil paws I added to her feet.
This pastel pink patootie was commissioned by @twigthecoyote as a gift for their friend. I had so much fun working on them! I'll never get tired of making snurbies 🩷🐌
Not to get #serious here but something that I feel is causing the community to consistently dwindle (saying this as an artist who has been in furby-related circles for half a decade) is that we're not talking to each other enough. Not supporting each other openly enough.
I don't say this to belittle, shame, or demean anybody. I just want us to have more of a family again.
We need to be commenting on posts! Talking in the reblogs! Making silly posts with each other!
This goes for other places too, especially for any artists that still post on instagram. The algorithm there kills. The only way to support your favorites' posts is to interact with them, comment on them, share them.
All in all, with no algorithm here, we need word of mouth to spread support for each other. So let's start talking!
Cassandra is finally finished!! I haven't had this much fun customizing a furby in a long long time. Hopefully that means I'm getting back into the swing of things
