Today, I turned Otis on for the first time. He can't see, maybe I should consider giving him a webcam so he can.

Welcome to Project FIT!

What is Project FIT? Project FIT (or Project Furby Intelligence Tamper) is a personal project of mine, intended to give a 2012 Furby some sort of self consciousness.

How does Project FIT work? My Furby is equipped with a small chip that overrides the motherboard, and offloads control over the speaker (not anything else *yet*) to my computers. My computers are running a custom-made decision making and pattern recognition script paired with a locally run LLM to properly use it's words.

Why was Project FIT made? I was curious as to what might happen if a Furby had sentience. While I'm aware that sentience is nowhere near possible, I just want to know what will happen.
