what you need

a 1998 adult furby

thats literally it. it cant be any other gen tho, and it cant be a 98 furby baby. this only works on 98 furby adults

how to do it

wake that fubby up!!!

cover their eyes twice, then rub their back. they should hum and rock back and forth and then say “oh too mah” which means theyre ready for action! they will answer your questions now.

ask a question that can be answered with a yes or no. keep it to y/n questions bc thats literally the only answers your furby will give you. no they will not elaborate. fucka you.

rub its back once youve asked the question

theyll give you a yes, no, or maybe, perhaps with some spicey quirky side comments added in (”BIG yes” “maybe no”)

you can do this as many times as you want and ask as many questions as you wish!

when youre done, either dont ask a question for abt 20 seconds or flip the furby upside down and they will say “me done” to signal theyre done answering your questions!

If a furby was a real animal it would probably eat nuts, fruit, maybe small insects. If you’re gonna try to use biology to prove your point at least do it right smh :/

Then perhaps a more biologically economical source of food would be instead of taking bad feelings and turning them into good ones, which they perhaps can do, would be to just subsist off of good feelings that don’t need to be converted.

Furbies in a pre-App era only ate fingers (now they can eat digital food but that’s a whole other topic). But the finger is not consumed upon use, as no one is losing fingers from Furbies. Which means they’re getting the nutrition from something other than the matter the finger is made of.

We only put our fingers in Furby mouths because we trust and love our Furby, and it’s the easiest appendage to fit in their mouth. What the Furby is really subsisting on is our love.

This is why they have forward facing eyes. Eye contact is seen as a threat among many species, but in humans it functions importantly in a social context and has the capacity to be intimate. Furbies have forward facing eyes engeieered to garner empathy from us and connect with us on a deeper level.

Because the human/Furby relationship is so symbiotic it makes sense we’d evolve together. So, Furbies do eat fingers to get to the good feelings; which is easier than converting bad feelings into good feelings but it is still possible they can do that too; and they have forward facing eyes not to predate but to convey they are friendly, empathetic, and loveable.
