Eeeeyyya. 

Desucon Frostbite happened, what, a week a go? Wow, and it feels like it happened ages ago omgh. I have like super mixed feelings about the convention and even thou mainly all the feels are positive, my mind still plays tricks on me. Hah. 

I wasn’t so sure what would happen with my planned cosplay for the event but blah blah pick your attitude and you can achive things blah blah motivational speech blah blaaah aaand Yukine was done. Well, pants I bough, shirt was easiest to make but the hat, oh man the hat. It’s not perfect and needs fixing here and there but I’m totally, positively happy with it. 

While we wait photos from our short but fun photoshoot, have some pics (from @anniilaugh ‘s twitter ) we took while waiting for the cafe to open (old ass cosplayers need their coffee right) (I don’t even like coffee what the fuck but I still drank like three cups during Sunday what). We rolled on the floor. Also I love these photos like nngghhhhhggghhgg.

30 Day Anime Challenge Day 2: Favorite anime I’ve watched so far → Code Geass

Fast-recap of cosplay year 2016: full of re-used costumes, wig swaps and only two new characters: Yata and Nine. (Okay, we could count casual!Jean and Tsukishima in here too but not really so no pics of them). 

So what to say about the cosplay year 2016? It was pretty shitty considering cosplaying but both Yata and Nine were fun to wear and I got to do new things for the terrorist kid (the mask and painting of the shirt), also the hat for Yata was pretty interesting experience. Hah. 

Speaking of conventions, the year 2016 was work-filled: I think I worked in 4 out of 5 events I participated in. It was fun, I got to meet awesome people and hang out with good old ones. 

And what’s up for the year 2017?

Good question really, because I’m very close to have a break from this hobby. I’m going to go to Frostbite (what the hell I will wear, who knows) and then... Tracon? Fav convention is not going to happen this year and I’m to be honest, very tired. Like, maybe it’s adulting happening in my life but I really don’t have any.... motivation to care about costume making. Which is pretty sad because 2017 is the 10th year of cosplaying for me, god, Mello in 2007, oh wow, I could re-do that for the sake of celebration if nothing else.

What I have been up to?

Well, Tracon happened in September. I was sick af (I have been sick af like four times during the last 6 months and I’m sick of being sick man.) But ZnT boys happened with Keke and it was fun. Great shit. I should go through the photos we got and post some proper ones. 

What else. 

Aicon also happened but I just put on a wig but maybe next year I could do better because this adorable Woozi cosplayer stole my heart like no other hah. 

I have also fallen hard for Syaoran so maybe something Tsubasa related cosplay will happen next year. Most likely also Nabari no Ou cosplay is going to happen. I already have the ugly hat. 

We will see if I fall into the gays on ice dumpster.

So, Animecon.

I don’t know whose idea it was to work full week before the convention AND work at the convention too. Not mine. 

But anyway, everyone and their mothers know how much I hate black luggage and jesus christ I don’t care if you are about to miss the goddamn buss, line like every fucking one. Or you should have come and collect your shit earlier. Well at least Tsukki’s bitch face was appropriate for those kind of moments. 

I ended by wearing Kags for Saturday and Tsukishima for Sunday because I wanted something different and asked if @yacinii could borrow her Tsukki wig and glasses and yeah, shit happened. @nabishark takes so much better selfies than I do and @sunshinebak is the greatest blurry Oikawa ever. Great company to be honest. 

What else to say. Hmm.. Oh, that one Suga cosplayer! I got to get their luggage for them on both days and I was so giggly, like, they were great! Ugh.

So this group happened in February for Yukicon 3.0. It was cold but goddamnit I have feels I shouldn’t have. Yata is just an angry teenage boy and I hate his tantrums and all that BUT GODDAMNIT I kid you not, he is my kind of character and I would lie if I said I don’t have a soft spot for him.

Sooo I haven’t been that active here. Life happened, stress happened, I moved to different city and started an internship. 

I haven’t had time to think about cosplay that much. But Cosvision happened and we decided to take all the Kags/Hina selfies we never took previously with @uninenn As you can see from the top right photo, I was tired as hell, and I wasn’t that keen to make contact with people during the convention. (I even got a comment on how I wasn’t regocnized because I wasn’t being my loud self, lol) And the bottom right is the awesome squad ( @raistlana and @emery-dragonfly ) I got to hang out during the convention and outside of it. 

And Mimicon is happening next. I really have no energy or whatsoever to be excited about it even thou I do love Mimicon, it has always been so nice and mdngfsjhgdkjfhgdh. I will probably put Yamato or Onna on, I haven’t decided yet which one. I should thou, I have million other things to deal with and laskfjdhakfljshgkfjg. 

Life. 

But. 

I promise that in Animecon I will be wearing a new costume and I still want to complete Suzaku this year, maybe for Tracon. Also there is Farlan plans and summer photoshoots so. And K-Project pictures somewhere to edit. Gah.
