🚫 THIS BLOG IS TAKING PART IN THE ANTI-CENSORSHIP PROTEST ON DECEMBER 17th 🚫

The owner of this Blog will be making as much noise at Tumblr Staff about how horrible this ban in on other sites such as Twitter or Facebook. 

The owner of this blog will be logging out of all accounts for the entirety of the 17th. Will Not run a queue. Will not even check the dash. Or give the money hungry executives a single page view to squeeze ad revenue out of

The owner of this blog believes in an ACTUAL positive, better, safer Tumblr and well be doing their part to fight for it by logging out on the 17th of December.

The 17th is right around the corner...

since i cannot find my original post in regards to what im going to do i figured i would type it out again.

I personally believe that @staff have made a horrible mistake but i also think that this is starting to be commonplace in our culture where the customers are no longer the priority.. its what sells thats the priority. 

a few things to know about me. i do run a NSFW blog called @furry-for-yiff and at the time i could actually link this blog onto pages but now i cannot. it doesnt hurt me at all. i do not make money by doing this both on my main blog and on my side blog. it hurts the artists im trying to advertise by reglogging their amazing art. artists near and dear to my heart like @soothe-bell and @temiree will no longer have this as a means of showing what they have created and my heart truly goes out to them..

That being said i will be staying on tumblr. i have worked far to hard on this blog to just delete it. Both blogs will be run until they are delete and i will CONTINUE to post what i like and reblog artists like above. but i know that this may be short lived.

if this blog or my NSFW blog gets deleted please feel free to follow me on TWITTER. i dont know if i will be using it much but i know i will be using it alot while im on deployment.

I will however be protesting this by participating in the log out on the 17th movement and i highly encourage you all to join me. i know a lot of my following is inactive but for those who are active please join me in logging out of tumblr on the 17th.

How to tell if your blog has been flagged as explicit

The easiest method

Go to a postlimit checker

Enter your blog url

If you’ve been flagged as explicit, under General Blog Info your url will be listed as [nsfw] and your avatar will be pixelated 

Without leaving you blog

Go to settings

Select your blog from the bar on the right

Go down to the On-Blog Advertising section

If the On-Blog Advertising button is normal and allows you click it on or off, then you’re fine

If the On-Blog Advertising is off, faded, and you can’t click it on or off, then you’ve been flagged as explicit

Hello everyone...

It has come to my attention that on December 17th will be the last day for NSFW content.

For people who dont know i do run a NSFW blog called @furry-for-yiff which is very heavy on adult furry art. Not only as a means of “stress relief” but as a means to give adult furry artists a route to get their art out there because a ton of the art I find is very very good and deserves to be seen.

For people who are concerned…

I will be continuing to reblog, answer fursona questions, and update both blogs. I have been on this site WAY too long to have a policy scare me away (also im too stubborn). 

But i do need your help…

If you want to see blogs like mine and hundreds of other re-bloggers or artists make it into the future for many years to come i need you to sign this petition stating that you are against the removal of adult content on tumblr.  

in the event i am removed…. Do not be sad i am still going to be around! i will be on twitter as Furry-for-thought!
