i'm not even convinced Asriel is the knight but even i can agree this is an intentional design choice, it wouldn't even be out of the blue since characters from deltarune look like how they do in undertale in the dark world, also the knight isn't even gonna be the final boss so it's not a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" final boss choice if Asriel knight theory gets confirmed
