Y'know... what if the "garbage noise" isn't purely Gaster-associated, but related specifically to whatever he discovered in Entry Number Seventeen? The sheer amount of darkness and "negative photons" and such?

What if all the FRIEND, ERAM, and the Knight stuff was related to whatever Gaster discovered, rather than Gaster himself?
