I just randomly remembered Furvilla and consequently this blog and I’m surprised to see both are still even a thing. I used to be incredibly active when I was a kid. Like 13-16 I think and for some ungodly reason I was everyone’s favourite target for weeks. I don’t even remember what I said to start it but people really liked bullying a child for saying dumb childish things. That was crazy. I actually got groomed because the only person that was nice to me was a grown adult and they took advantage of the situation lmao. I’m good now tho. Nice to see the site is still a total shit show maybe I’ll log back on for old times sake

I haven't been on FV for many years now, but I can't stop lamenting about the waste it is even now. The concept is pretty fun and always has the potential to be improved and expanded... I loved the idea of Villagers and the freedom of customization (Shifties, off-base Painties). Some of it cost FD, but it was a good way to support the site. Many people willingly buy stuff like that to support the sites/games they like, but it's all been squandered away. Damn.

I think it was to encourage people to use PVP but it failed so horribly.

Even with these shiny golden rewards and the item that gives FD per 10 fights

nobody is fighting. I can be on for hours checking and forever loading. I got some people like the same 3 for like 1-2 mins but after that, back to emptyness loading. This event is so dead.

This is just hilariously sad. Most times this event these numbers are sky rocketing day one but far day 2 and these numbers did not change, I wonder if it will change at all. Site so dead.

I'm gonna say it. The owners of this site are fucking stupid. You have an offical discord server. How come when a festival starts, they don't do an @everyone ping. Also LOVE they think people are gonna flock back for the upcoming one.

I quit the site last year but I, unfortunately, still think about it a lot. it was a major part of my teen years up until I was in my 20s when I ended up having to ditch the site.

everyone I liked either: 1. left the site for their own good, or 2. showed their true colors in some way, either directly to my face in interactions with me, or by getting into some kind of controversy. I was nothing but kind, even when it felt like pulling teeth to be nice to some of these users, and I certainly didn't receive the same treatment back. many interactions were rude and exhausting, I got ghosted by a few artists, had awful experiences with mod thal, so on, so forth.

I still occasionally log in just to see the state of things, and... honestly, after all the userbase has put myself and the people I love through, it's very satisfying to see the game go F2P and get pulled off its life support. I will get to see the site die in my lifetime. I will have outlived both hulk hogan and furvilla. crazy!

i haven't paid attention to this site in years, can someone tell me why they got rid of purchasing fd?? pretty sure it also has to do with why theres only 20 people online at all times now but i gotta know

I don’t have the energy for a good tldr but basically they can’t afford to put new content on the site, so they’re making the whole game f2p until it eventually ceases to exist
