Wow, has it been an entire year already? We apologize once again for the inactivity. Due to a combination of miscommunication between some of our team as well as how busy we’ve all been, we haven’t been able to release anything until now.

But, on the bright side, the new season of Yowamushi Pedal will be airing very soon! (≧∇≦*) To celebrate, here is another doujinshi to help us get back into the groove.

Hello! It’s nice to still get messages despite our inactivity. This is the editor here. I’d like to thank you for your continued support. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication between our translators which means that we have volume 3 of “Sangaku-kun x Sakamichi-kun” completely done and ready to release while volume 2 hasn’t even been started. It’s been kind of dead silent on their end ever since. They’re all very busy people and I hope one day they’ll regain the drive to keep translating. It’s a very tough job after all (;´Д`)

That was originally our plan, but due to the lack of translators and a busy college life for all of us, monthly goals will be hard to achieve. However, we’re still aiming for it! Wish us luck! :)

Hello! Sorry for the late response, but we come bearing great news! Regarding the massive 山岳くん x 坂道くん project that spans multiple volumes, we’ve decided to engage in a joint project with bunny⚣’s scans in releasing these volumes. That means we’ll divide the work between us and take turns in releasing them on our respective blogs. Since we’ve released the first volume, they’ll be releasing the second volume, we’ll release the third, and so forth. Our 山岳くん x 坂道くん post will be updated soon with the links to all the volumes that will be released! In the meantime, we’re planning to start on the other sansaka projects in the queue.

Here’s to hopefully much more sansaka until the third season comes around! CHEERS!

Translators Wanted

Since there was such an overwhelming response for the recruitment of cleaners, we've decided to open slots for another line of work: Translators! Currently, we have more than enough cleaners/redrawers but only one translator, which is a pretty large ratio of difference. There's plenty of doujin to scanlate —as you can see from our future releases— and it's a pretty hefty task to undertake with only one active translator. Click below for more details!

Unlike cleaning, there's not much to qualify becoming a translator, only that you must be able to read Japanese on an intermediate level, or at least understand the fundamentals of a Japanese sentence enough to know what they’re saying. No silver tongue is required, seeing that our typesetter is in charge of transforming our work into a tour de force. I still consider myself as an amateur translator; I rely heavily on a kanji dictionary for most kanji that I come across. 

There’s no strict format to abide to when translating, only that it should be clear and neat enough for the typesetter to understand easily. Below is just how I usually make the transcript.

There’s also bound to be a lot of unreadable text in the raws, so no worries if you can’t see what they’re saying! If it’s that small, it shouldn’t be that important anyway. Overall, translating should be a fun experience, and if you’ve a great deal of passion for sansaka and are interested in honing your Japanese (trust me, this helped me a lot), don’t hesitate to contact [email protected]! :) We can’t wait to welcome you!

Cleaners Wanted!

Before anything else, a few weeks ago, we received our first job request to join the group. After reciprocating, we’re not sure if the reply was either lost in the sea of tumblr’s equivalent to hacking facebook that they call a messaging system, or if the user opted out at the last second. This is a shout-out to come contact us again if you’re still interested!

Remember that we are completely open to anyone who has extra time on their hands. Unfortunately, having only one editor isn’t enough for the scale of projects our group has planned. It’s essentially a three-step process, where each one could take hours or even days. Considering that we’re not complete shut-in’s just yet, some extra hands would be appreciated!
