I don’t know, Ellie. He’s not attached to his shoes but he doesn’t own as many as you girls. Chances are 50/50.

Do you think he’d notice if I hide the shoes?
I don’t know, Ellie. He’s not attached to his shoes but he doesn’t own as many as you girls. Chances are 50/50.
Ebbs, you’re my friend. I’m just trying to help. You should talk to him. Let him know how you feel. He’s your dad and you can say many things about Lucas Morgan but his kids come first. I did. I never said anything. Just because he doesn’t show it doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel it. You’re really his son you know? You’re very alike in that sense.
You’re not helping, my friend. I tried before. He doesn’t listen. He doesn’t care what I have to say. To him there’s only one opinion that matters and that’s his own. My bad for being born a male. He doesn’t see me as his son, Zane. I’m the heir, future alpha, that’s all I am to him. In what sense? I don’t think we’re anything alike at all.
emilia-morgan:
Considering their issues, Emilia was insecure how to react. No matter how strained their relationship may have been the past ten years or so, Em tried to fix it. She loved her kids more than anything and she never gave up on them. She’d do anything to protect them even if it was just from an overly eager school director. She was beyond curious to know more about the mysterious girl but she didn’t want to push her son either. His reaction only proved to her she was on the ball with it. “Well. I just wanted to let you know, she’s welcome in our house any time you’d like to bring her home. That’s all.” She grinned at Ebbs with her typical ‘you can’t fool your mother’ smile. “No I’m not. He’s not that bad. We were young too, Ebbs. He’ll understand. I just think it’d be best if you told him. Have a little faith in your dad. I promise he won’t kill you. “
Ebbs never knew how to act around his mother. He was mad at her for the betrayal on his dad and as he felt the whole family. And annoyed because she was such an alpha-mom. Like most guys his age, he felt like he didn’t need parenting anymore. He was a grown ass guy and wanted to be taken serious. “Mom, stop! She’s not - “ He swallowed the next words and got frustrated with himself because he shouldn’t even be answering. “Just forget it, okay? It’s nothing. I just met her. And it’s really just that. Nothing more. “ His eyes roll at his mom once more when she kept talking about his dad. “Probably not but he’ll give me hell. You know he always does even if there is no reason. Now he’ll just use it against me and it’ll be worse than usual.”

anytime bro. Hey, don’t be mean! I’m not as much of a pain as you are. And my room smells nicer. My clothes look better too and my hair is fabulous compared to yours. But we can’t all be fashionistas. I said you do. What’s her name? You can tell me. I’ll find out anyway. Make it ten. You don’t want to be too old when you have them.
Yeah you got all the looks. I can’t deny that. Like I told you, I don’t care much about clothes and stuff. I’d tear them anyways. Who? I realy don’t know what you’re talking about, Lex. Fill me in? We’ll see. I have other things to worry about now.
Uh-Oh!
morgan-princess:
I think Elsa and Olaf made a little mess with Dad’s shoes.
Don’t let dad see it.
argent-in-disguise:
“He is a firearms dealers – mostly to law enforcement.” Allison shrugged, knowing that it wasn’t the most common of occupations for a parent to have. “I know… it’s a different job.” She had grown used to people looking at her oddly when she mentioned it or when they came over and found that her garage was full of glocks and AK-47′s. She used to think it was odd too until she found out the truth. She would expect the same reaction from Ebbs, seeing no reason why he wouldn’t. It was usually enough to scare anyone away.
There was a expression of sympathy that covered her features at his words, noting that he seemed to know exactly how he felt but she sensed there was more to his words. “It sucks.” She agreed, shifting in her spot to face him a little better. “Does he do that a lot? Not listen or let you have a say?” She asked carefully, not wanting to cross any lines he may have but she had a feeling his dad tended to overlook what his son had to say. Chris, her father, didn’t do that…but Victoria, her mom, tended to do that. More than Allison would admit. The sun felt nice on her skin and she closed her eyes as she relished the small amount of warmth it brought her. Opening her eyes, she glanced at Ebbs and squinted one eye as she thought. “I think just over a week now. I used to live here before, when I was young. It’s technically the closest thing I have to home but we haven’t been here since I was maybe 4 or 5.” She shrugged and sighed. “What about you? Where are you originally from?”
It sounded like an interesting job to him, not as crazy as his dads but not a common job at least. “Wow, I guess not everyone can say their dad has such an interesting job.” Ebbs admitted but he knew how it was if people judged the kids by their parents jobs or actions. “I wish people would stop judging us for things we don’t get to choose.” He wasn’t sentimental at all but for some reason he felt comfortable opening up to her. Ebbs rarely had time to hang out with someone his age, unless they were part of the pack and in this case it was all about the pack. “Life sucks sometimes. All we can do is make the best of it.”
Ebbs laughed, it was odd to talk about his dad to anyone who wasn’t Zane or his sisters. “Yeah. Honestly I think he doesn’t even know who I am. He has this image of me of who he wants me to be and that’s all he cares about.” He grumbled and shrugged. The morgan son would never admit it but it hurt him because he didn’t have a normal son-dad relationship with his dad and he missed that a lot. “Never mind. It is what it is.” He shrugged off, he didn’t want to dwell on it. “What’s your family like? Do you have siblings?” Ebbs really wanted to know more about her. “Do you like it here? I have a home in California but we travel a lot too. I don’t complain about the travels becaus I like seeing new places and meeting new people. But if it was for me it would be enough to travel on vacation for a couple of weeks. “

future-alpha-ebbs:
What worried her wasn’t the fact her son skipped school - in fact, she’d probably be more worried if he didn’t at least try once, like most kids his age. Considering her own school record and the amount of days she skipped back then to spend time with her new found mate, she really was no one to talk in this case. But that was exactly the point. He obviously didn’t skip the class alone, she could sense the scent of a female on him. “Like I said, I can’t approve of you skipping classes, Ebbs but punishment won’t help. Just try to meet her after or before school next time to spare us another speech of that ‘idiot’.” She eyed her son closely to see his reaction upon her hint. “You should tell him yourself, Ebbs.”
He didn’t expect his mom to be this calm about the situation but he was more worried about his dads reaction anyways. It wasn’t the first time he skipped class but usually he did because of pack business and Lucas was aware. It was an emergency. This time he did because of other reasons and he was scared his dad would find out. “I never ask you favors mom, just this time. Don’t tell him. He’ll freak out.” She was right, punishment wouldn’t help, it wouldn’t make it unhappen and he’d just act out on it. “What?-” Ebbs jaw dropped, how did she - of course! Damn wolfnose. He rolled his eyes and huffed. “It’s nothing mom. Don’t read into it. “ He tried to change the conversation because he really didn’t want to talk about it and less with his mother. “Uhhh mom, are you trying to get me killed? If I tell dad that’s probably what’s going to happen”.

your-alexis-morgan:
I didn’t say I need you. It’s just not so bad to have you around sometimes. I’m joking Ebbs. I’ll always need you, okay? It doesn’t matter how often we fight. You should stop not caring about it because this way you won’t ever have a girlfriend. And I want to be an aunt someday. And Arielle is not allowed going there because of reasons so that only leaves you to give me nephews and nieces.
Thanks Sis. That’s good to know. You’re a pain in the ass but sometimes it’s not so bad to have you around either. I know, and I’ll always be here. Who said I want a girlfriend? I don’t have time for that. And dad would kill me if I did. Woah easy there. I’m twenty. I’m not thinking about kids for the next twenty years.
emilia-morgan:
It wasn’t the first time she’d been called to school because of her son and while the young mother knew she was supposed to give her oldest all the expected parent speeches, she was also well aware they wouldn’t change a thing. Not all too long ago, Emilia was just the same when she was his age. That was probably why she still remembered perfectly well how useless it would be to call him out. Besides, she’d rather hear his side of the story before judging Ebbs. “I wasn’t going to ground you. Not that you’d listen if I did anyway, Ebbs. But please feel free to enlighten me on what happened? “ Em knew her kids well enough to know her son must have had his reasons to skip class.
Ebbs got in trouble at school sometimes but it was never anything serious. Not in his opinion, however his school mates may beg to differ. This time it was just a minor occurence and the director overreacted completely by calling his mom just because he skipped a class. He showed up, late, but he did. “Good. Nothing I just skipped class and that idiot called you because he didn’t have anything better to do. Now who’s the one with issues?” He followed his mother to the car and opened the door. Before he got in, he threw the bag on the back seat. “Are you going to tell dad?”
morgan-princess:
Why, you loved Disney movies when you were little. You just think it wouldn’t look cool enough for your friends. Ebbsy, it’s okay. You would make a great prince but I’ll ask Dad if he wants to be prince charming insteat. Mom could be Cinderella, what do you think? That would be so cute! N-o-o! You can’t do that. You would scare my friends and the kids. Please don’t. I am not. I just want it to be perfect. If you want to you can go as Simba. I can just make it a Disney party instead. Would you like that better?
I’m not little anymore Arielle. My friends would never show up to a frozen party. I wouldn’t, believe me. A ninja turtle or batman would work better with me but before you get weird ideas, I’m too old for that to. Yeah ask him what he thinks about it and tell me what he said. I’d like to know that. Can’t imagine dad dressing up but prove me wrong. Of course I won’t silly. It will be perfect, you got a sister who knows all about throwing the best parties.
zane-larson:
I’ll talk to him. No one would think of Lucas Morgan as a Saint Ebbs. But he’s still your dad. And you’re not legally allowed to drink. Any parent would be upset.
Clearly not. Thanks for the reminder, buddy. I almost forgot. He’s more my alpha than my dad. Come on because you didn’t drink before you turned 21, Zane. Lucas Morgan doesn’t get upset. Disappointed and angry if anything but upset? That’s not a word in his vocabulary.

your-alexis-morgan:
The betas are okay but some jobs are better done by my big brother. I was hoping you’d say that. I don’t have excesses, I make investments and they are worth the prices. You should care. It can be helpful to make a good first impression.
Good to know you still need your brother. I already said I’ll go, you can stop the convincing. I stopped caring about my first impression long ago. It wouldn’t hurt you to do the same. You can’t make it right for everyone and haters gonna hate.
argent-in-disguise:
Allison nodded her head and have a one shoulder shrug at his question. “Dad’s job keeps us moving a lot so I am permanently known as the new girl wherever I go.” There was an undertone of bitterness in her words. Before this hunt or before she was told of her family’s secret, she had resented her father for always moving them around. She never really had a normal childhood because of it and it had even caused her to stay back a year in school. Now, she understood more and knew the importance of them moving around so much. It didn’t mean she particularly liked it, but she got it.
A bright and genuine laugh came from at Ebbs’ words and she shook her head at him before pointing a finger playfully in his direction. “Somehow…. I don’t think I’m as terrible of an influence as you are portraying me to be.” With a nod of her head, she began to lead them out of the school building and towards the lacrosse field. Once they found a spot to settle down in, decently hidden, Allison placed her belongings down and sat on the grass, leaning against the bleachers. “So…” She began, glancing at the guy beside her, “How long have you been in Beacon?”
He listened to her and what she said felt familiar to him. His family didn’t move as often but regardless he had to follow his dad as his heir. He was never asked if that was what he wanted or how he felt about it. Ebbs had to obey his alpha. That’s it. “What does your dad do?” The morgan son asked curiously. Allison wasn’t just different then the girls he met so far, she was interesting. Opening up was rare for him, especially because he didn’t know anything about the girl yet but it came automatically. “We recently moved here because of my dad’s job too. I know the feelig. Sucks when you gotta leave everything behind without getting a say.”
To his surprise it felt good to talk about his feelings. He wouldn’t tell anyone but he needed these things off his chest and for some reason he confided in her. Her laugh changed his mood right away. She had a unique laugh and her face looked even prettier with a smile. Her dimples were really cute. “I was joking. You’re actually a great influence. Class wouldn’t have made me laugh like that.” Ebbs teased back and smiled at her. They finally found a quiet spot and sat down on the grass. He breathed in deeply to enjoy the fresh air. “They should offer outdoor classes. It would be easier to bear.” The morgan heir shifted on his spot before he answered her question. “Only a couple of weeks. What about you? How long have you been here?”
Shopping Time!
future-alpha-ebbs:
No Alexis. I said I’d go to NYC. Never said a word about shopping. Fashion doesn’t matter to me. As long as it fits I’m good.
If you’re going with me that also means you’re going shopping Ebbs. And if you only come to carry my bags. I can tell. You should give it more importance. The first impression is important and clothes say a lot about people.
You got enough Betas for that job. But I'll go to keep an eye on you. And Dad's credit card. Don't want the family to go bankrupt because of your shopping excesses. I don't care about first impressions. Even less what strangers think.
morgan-princess:
Why not? It would be so much fun. Come on Ebbsy, you know you want to. For me? Please? Noo Olaf is the Snowman. He’s so funny. But now that you mentioned it, you’d make a great prince too. You can be an Alpha Prince. We’ll find a way to fit it in. And daddy can be the king. And mom the queen. and Alex and I the princesses. She can be Ana and I’ll be Elsa. Oh my god, this is perfect!
For you it would be. For me it’d be hell. No I don’t. Stop it! A snowman? Not happening. Not in a million lives would I pass a prince. Or I can just go in my wolf form. That’d be one hell of a costume. Now it sounds more like Lion King. Arielle please you’re way over the top about this whole freezy party.
zane-larson:
Easy Ebbs. He’s just a kid. Let’s not pay him too much attention. Not worth it. Don’t let your Dad hear that. Don’t you think he’ll notice the missing bottles?
I don’t care. He needs to watch his mouth. What if he does? Are you scared? You really think dad was a Saint our age?
zane-larson:
Of course you can. That’s what friends are for.
What is it?
