It sounds like he is. That’s sweet. We should do that soon. I love puppies. Fingers crossed they will. I feel you. It’s one reason I don’t like going to shelters. I feel bad for the poor animals. Last time I went I couldn’t sleep. You should open a private zoo. I imagine. Do they have names yet?

You should visit us someday. Yes!! How about next weekend? Are you free? I love them too, so so much. Me neither. I was so sad because I couldn’t rescue all of them but I made some flyers to find other families for them. Maybe we can help some of them find a new home. They deserve it. I would love a zoo but I think my dad wouldn’t be thrilled about one. Yes they’re called Elsa, Olaf, Susie, Daisy, Mickey and Minnie. Their mom’s name is Sissy. Do you like the names?

I love you just as much, Elle. They certainly are. It’s a genetical thing. I know it is, I couldn’t be with a guy who doesn’t love them. He loves his own puppies that’s for sure. He’ll love them because we love them. Not like he has a choice. I’m sure he will if you persue him long enough. We’re lucky girls.

I know sissy. I’m so happy I’m not a boy. Hihihi he does. Very lucky. We just need to convince him about the party. Do you think he already has a plan for Valentines day? Maybe we should help him out.

I love you more, Ellie. He’s a guy, he wants to be cool. Dad doesn’t want to adopt puppies, he just said yes because he can’t say no to you. Ebbs doesn’t need to dress up, he can just go as himself. It’s enough of a costume. It would be. Keep trying to convince him. Did you talk to dad yet? That’s true. We have the best parents.

Not possible. Because I love you to the moon and back. Guys are dummies. It’s cool to love pets. I think dad secretly loves puppies too. He’s just not good expressing it. But he could dress up for me. No I have to ask him later. We do and the best puppies.

He sounds like a great dad. Good luck. I would love the puppies too but my family wouldn’t allow me one. We travel a lot. I couldn’t let them go either. I don’t understand how some people just abandon their pets. I’m happy your puppies found you.

He’s the best. He let me take all six puppies and their mommy because he has such a big heart. Now the family can stay together. That’s sad. We could meet at the park and you can play with them. I know, it’s sad and I hope all of them will find a new, loving home. I’d adopt them myself but I don’t think my dad’s going to allow me any more pets any time soon. I’m happy I found them. They’re so adorably cute.

Lucas felt a familiar feeling of warmth come over him at seeing his daughter’s joy at his defeat. His arms wrapped around her small frame, hugging her tight and smiling as a kiss was pressed to his cheek. That. That was why he always gave into Arielle’s pleas. The girl’s joy was unmatched whenever Lucas gave into what she wanted, and he loved making his daughter happy. He spoiled them rotten and had no qualms about it. The notoriously cruel and malevolent alpha brought down by the puppy-dog eyes of his teenage daughter. Oh… he would have never seen that coming.

His face paled slightly as she spoke to the pups that were yipping and panting happily by her. 7 dogs. What the hell was he going to do with seven dogs in the house. Emilia was going to kill him and rightfully so. With a shake of his head, Lucas looked at shelter worker who was watching him with almost a look of pity. “I’m assuming there’s some paperwork I need to fill out?” When she nodded, Lucas sighed and glanced at Elle. “I’ll be right back, alright?” And with that, Lucas followed the worker, tail between his legs, ready to essentially sign his once calm life away and trade it for messes and smells and destruction at the hand of 6 puppies and their mother.

It was a good half hour later that Lucas returned to the kennel where the pups were, paperwork stuffed in his back pocket, a carrier for the 6 puppies and a harness and leash for the mother. “Alright… let’s brings these guys home.” He grumbled, kneeling next to Arielle and opening the carrier for the pups. “I swear if any one of you so much as growl at me the wrong way.” He threatened as he watched the pups scamper over to sniff at the crate. It was an empty threat…but at least it made him feel somewhat better.

Arielle hugged her dad back and gave him another kiss on the cheek. She squeaked in happiness and jumped around, cuddled all the puppies and let them shower her with kisses. “You’re all part of our family now. Welcome to the pack. You’ll be so loved and spoiled, I promise.” Elle giggled in joy. “What should we name you? Let’s see” She thought about names for a bit and asked the shelter worker about the genders so she could choose the right name for each.

“Okay daddy, take your time. We’ll be just fine here.” She promised and started to name the puppies. Arielle loved disney movies so it wasn’t a hard pick. Soon the puppies were all named. Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Elsa, Olaf and Susie. The mother was named Sissy by the shelter and she loved the Sissy series as well which was why she kept it. She asked every puppy if they liked their name and since there were no complaints, she was sure they did. “Perfect. Now we can get your collars with your names.”

The time flew and she didn’t even notice it was a good half an hour until her dad came back. She was just happy with her dogs. “Look dad, they’re so happy.” One of them instantly ran over to Lucas and tried to jump up on his leg. Arielle laughed at the view. “Awe look daddy I think he wants to say thank you. “. She heard her dads threat to the dogs and crossed her arms at him. “D --a-a-d. Don’t be mean please? They’re just babies. Don’t hurt them or you’ll make me cry so much.” And THAT was not an empty threat.

Arielle: I only bought stuff for two dogs but we have seven now.

Arielle: So until we find the right betas to adopt them,

Arielle: Because of course we have to make sure they will be in the best hands

Arielle: We kind of need stuff for four more puppies and their mom

Lucas: Not yet, I can sneak away for a while if you’re hungry?

Lucas: Don’t remind me, Elle….I’m still trying to figure out how you managed to convince to say okay to that.

Lucas: Is that your way of asking me to grab some things for the puppies? Do you have a list?

Arielle: I would love to have lunch with you.

Arielle: we should ask mom to come too.

Arielle: we all need food.

Arielle: the dogs too. Somehow we're running out of it faster then expected.

Arielle: no one can resist puppies daddy.

Arielle: we could go to lunch and after to the pet store?

Arielle: or you could go with mommy?

Arielle: don't take it in a bad way daddy,

But she has a better taste. You probably would buy everything in black and I want their stuff to be colorful and matching.

He will be but not for long. He's got a good heart and can't stay mad at me and my sister. They are adorable, cute and I love them so so much. I'm sorry but I can't let any of them go anymore. I tried but they're a part of the family now.
