Colin: I do, yes. I’m glad to hear that. We can go. It seems there are costume contests occurring. We can dress up for both. It sounds like one is scary, one is cute. Do you have ideas for either?
MARLEY ✉ COLIN
Colin: Good evening, Marley. Were you interested in going to any of the events? Particularly, the dances.

Marley collected all the ingredients needed for shrimp gumbo, she figured it was a nice filling fall treat but had a variety of flavors she thought Colin would like. The more time they spent together the more eager she got to spend more time with him. She slung a small bag over her shoulder with a few toiletries and headed over to his suite, knocking lightly. When he answered she gave him a grin “Hiya Sir, do you like gumbo?” She asked and after he answered Marley walked past him into the kitchen where she began laying out ingredients. “I thought, maybe, you’d like to help me a bit with it?”
The knock on his door came quicker than Colin expected, and he couldn’t help the grin spreading across his face. Moving briskly towards the door, he opened it and stepped forward, wrapping his arms around Marley’s waist in a quick hug. “Hi there beautiful, how are you feeling?” Stepping aside as she let herself in, Colin closed the door and followed her into the kitchen. “That sounds delicious, yes. I’m looking forward to it. You’re a splendid cook, I know you’ll do well.” Taking a seat at the counter, his eyes followed the woman as she moved effortlessly through the kitchen, beginning her prep. “I can help if you want, sure.” He replied, standing and making his way to the sink to wash his hands. “Fair warning, I’m a shit cook. So, you’ll really have to guide me through this one.”

Marley: Yes Sir! What would you like for dinner sir? I’ll be over shortly.
Colin: Very good girl. I’d like something with shrimp, the rest I’ll leave up to you. You always do well, I trust you. I’m excited to see you.
COLIN ✉️️ MARLEY
Colin: Marley, I'd like you to come over tonight. Make us dinner, and bring something to sleep in.

Marley: Its the 80s right? I was thinking about it but I dont have anything to wear… are you going sir?
Colin: I believe it’s any decade, so 80′s would work. Oh, I’m sure you could pull together something if you’d like to go. Well, that depends on you. If you’d like to go, I’d like to accompany you. If you aren’t interested, we can do something else.
COLIN ✉️ MARLEY
Colin: Hello, Marley. I was wondering if you were planning to go to the dance at all?
COLIN ✉️ MARLEY
Colin: Marley, I was wondering if you wanted to stay with me tonight? If not that is fine, really, but I wanted to toss out the question.

COLIN&MARLEY PARA
Marley felt her face flush, the flowers were beautiful. She took them and inhaled softly. “They’re beautiful Sir, thank you, I dont have one but I can keep them safe” she placed them in the sink in her room; submerged just so in water before securing her door and taking his arm. “Its been amazing;, I got up early and sat out on the beach, went to the shipwreck museum and the dolphins were just… it was magical. Do you think things could be this way all the time? In a perfect world I mean” she asked squeezing his arm lightly; the warmth coming from his body and the breeze across her skin was comforting. She felt like she was walking in a dream.
Colin listened intently as Marley answered his question, recapping her day. “I’m glad you’ve been enjoying yourself. Having these type of experiences is important. Relaxing is important. Have you had the chance to take many vacations?” The two had been spending a good amount of time together, but Colin felt like he still didn’t really know Marley, a fact he wanted to begin changing. He paused to consider her question, narrowing his eyes as he sifted through his own thoughts. “I think it could be, in a perfect world. But, eventually, even paradise gets boring I’d think. All of this is great, but it’s called a vacation for a reason. Without the hectic nature of everyday life, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy this break quite as much.” The pair continued their journey, reaching the pier in what felt like no time at all. “There’s a great restaurant I found a little earlier, just up ahead. Seating right on the pier, and it overlooks the ocean. I thought it would be a great treat, watching the waves while we eat. I want you to order whatever you’d like, don’t limit yourself or be shy. I want this to be an excellent meal for both of us.” Stepping ahead of Marley, Colin approached the host stand, then turned to take her hand as they were escorted to their table. Pulling out Marley’s chair, Colin waited for her to settle herself before he took his own seat across from her. “So, tell me more about you.”
Surprisingly, this has been one gorgeous trip. Thank you to the Daltons, and to one very special lady, for making this trip so memorable. @roseamongthorns

COLIN&MARLEY PARA
Marley fiddled and fussed with her hair, she looked over herself in the mirror. This was exciting, new, a proper date. She hadn’t ever been courted like this before, she tried to keep herself in check, not get too excited just in case it all went wrong or she misinterpreted something. In the end though, Colin made her smile, made those butterflies flutter in her stomach. She liked being with Colin, getting to know him had made her really happy, Marley turned at the knock and scurried towards the door, the wedge heels on her feet felt clunky. She opened the door with a grin, he looked dashing. “Hello Sir!”
Once the door opened, Colin couldn’t help a small smile forming across his features. Running his eyes over his date, he settled on her gaze, stepping forward quickly to press a quick kiss to her cheek. “Good evening Marley. You look gorgeous. Thank you for agreeing to come out with me this evening.” Stepping back, Colin brought the bouquet from behind his back, thrusting it forward. “I got these for you, I’m not sure if you have a vase here or not.” Waiting patiently for Marley to deposit the bouquet, he fiddled with the buttons on his blazer. Once she’d returned and secured her cabin door, Colin offered his arm, guiding them down the steps and towards the beach’s pier. “So, how has your day been? Did you enjoy the Dolphin Adventure this afternoon?”
COLIN&MARLEY PARA
Adjusting his necktie, Colin made his way towards Marley’s cabin. Stepping up to the door, he straightened his blazer once more before lifting a fist to knock. Stepping back, he shifted the bouquet he’d purchased before heading over, hiding it behind his back as he waited for Marley to open the door. They’d spent a good amount of time together, getting to know each other. She was different than others he’d gone out with, though he only rarely entertained romantic notions. Things were going well, and he was genuine in his desire to spend even more time with the woman. @roseamongthorns

Marley: Thank you sir, you are? You’re very sweet to me sir. Afterwards huh? Exposing me to the moonlight so you can see my alter lizard ego? Sneaky sneaky… 🦎😊
Colin: I am, of course. You’re a good girl, you’re beautiful, I enjoy spending time with you. Shoot, you caught me.

Marley: Okay Sir! I’ll be waiting, my cabin is perfect. Im really excited to see you. So are we talking nice dress or new lizard skin suit?
Colin: Good girl, I’m looking forward to seeing you. That’s very nice of you to say. We’ll say nice dress for tonight, at least for the restaurant. Save the skin suit for afterwards.
