Thanks. I Transfigured it because it was pretty horrible before. If you really want it, you can have it. Wasn’t worth the five Sickles.
“Thanks. Plus, I love bad books. They are usually amusing.”

“I can manage. Just one for now, two if you count that there will be two groups. I don’t know if people will show up and with exams. I’ll see how it goes. I think one is a good start.”
“Okay. Don’t overwork yourself okay? I don’t want to read about your case in a textbook: local girl overworks herself.”

“Easy, easy,” Sam shushed her, stilling rather than moving. He knew really she needed to have some food and something to drink if possible to keep her strength up, but the temptation not to leave her was too strong. “You know you should get some energy while you rest,” he nudged gently. “But I’m here. You know it.”
“You can feed me later Mom.” she muttered rolling her eyes, looking behind her the couch was only a few steps away. Weakly she tugged him backwards, more of a suggestion than they should move than an actual attempt to do so. The couch was looking more inviting by the second, she still desperately wanted to find everyone, but maybe, a nap wouldn’t be so bad. “Thank you. I am glad you are here.”
“I would ‘ave done zah gentlemanly thing and told you as much or allowed you to win if zah situation arose.”
“Well, I don’t want to be allowed to win. So, I guess, I am going to have to practice counting cards.”

You really don’t want it, but here. [hands her the book]
I am confused. You seemed to be into it, but you... [picks up the book] well the cover is very pretty.
“They are going to be both at the Castle during the week and at my flat on the weekend. That way people who don’t have access to the castle can also participate. I guess you can just pick whatever date and place are better for you.”
“That sounds like an awful lot Cass. How many meetings are you going to hold per week?”
“I’d appreciate if you could do that.”
“I’ll be back. Try not to get into any trouble whilst I am gone okay?”
She still couldn’t move much aside from her head, neck, and right arm. There were very, very brief moments of feeling in her left arm, but they faded almost instantaneously, and she wasn’t sure how much of it had maybe been imagined. It was growing boring having no one to talk to aside from her visiting family members and the Healers and nurses around, and through a great deal of strongly-worded, all-capital letters to Professor Locke, Poppy had been granted access to contact people through a two-way mirror the school lent her. Her end was framed in silver, though only half the mirror was there, and she was able to hold it up in front of her face as the other side was connected through. She had no clue what the other half looked like, or who the person on the other end would be that had been allowed to talk to her, but the moment they appeared, she groaned. “I’m going insane with boredom, break me out.”
As the school year drew to and end Prue began to spend more time at St Mungo’s, shadowing doctors, taking notes and sometimes helping the nurses, for example, they sent her to rooms inhabited by kids and teenagers and she was supposed to chat with them; distract them.
“Should I call a nurse? Tell her you are going insane? You know, we have a special ward for people like you.”
“It is,” Poppy confirmed, though she honestly hadn’t even had any yet. The idea of any food at the moment seemed hard to comprehend, considering she couldn’t even feel if she had anything below her clavicle. She let out a sigh, looking up at the ceiling instead of at Vasilisa. “Intense spinal damage that it could be even more damaging, even fatal - love that word - to try to fix by magical or muggle means. A cheery diagnosis, really.”
“This is a great hospital though. One of the best in the wizarding world if there is a place they can fix you is here.” nervously she tugged a strand of her hair. “Umm. Also, where are your parents? Your sister? Do you have anyone here with you?”
“I hope they’re all fine. Blood relatives who behave. I’m not allowed back in.”
“Do you want me to poke my head in and see what’s going on?”
Oh, it was just advice to count cards and accept it is part of zah game. You can’t teach card counting but I guess I could come up wit’ a few tips. Always ‘ave a visualization in your mind. Try to see all the cards, what ‘as been played and for what and what you can deduce is likely to come next as pictures in your mind because it make counting and talking simultaneously more easy. If you are saying zah count in your head and zumone tries to start up a conversation, you will ‘ave problems maintaining both the inneh voice and outer voice, and you don’t want anyzing conspicuous so you don’t want to be lost and resort to tapping remindehs. Always keep your eye on zah cards, You should be able to count and remember cards even in a deck rifle and track zem, just practice until you do. For betting purposes, you can count and group cards. Put a plus one or two on ‘igh cards and a negative numbers on low cards to make it quicker for knowing if your ‘and can beat uzzehs, more zen like
“Okay, I will try doing that, sounds a bit complicated but easy with enough practice. On, and another thing: remind me to never bet in a card game against you.”
“Me too but your exams like mine are ending on the 8th so if you want to come after, you’re welcome.”
“Where are you meeting?”
Hogsmeade
Nothing, it’s really dumb and sappy. Can I help you with something?
“Yeah, the name of the book you were reading. I am curious now.”
Really? That’s perfect. I really should have guessed. What a downer that lady is.
“I am going home after this, I ask ask her if she knows anything about your missing old lady.”

I’m fine, really, it’s just this book… Sorry, sorry… [closes the book and wipes at her eyes] Whew. Don’t know what came over me there.
Wow. What are you reading?
Cassie was smiling and handing flyers to people. “ I know exams are starting but this is important too. We’re starting a group to talk and help each others so we can heal. Everyone is welcome either they were at the wedding or not, either they lost someone or not. It’s for everybody. Would you like to come ?”
“If I can find sometime I will try to stop by Cass. I am very busy with my exams... But I will try.”
