Alvin Alleluya, 24, is President of the Supreme Student Government at Bohol Island State University. Along with other Citizen Auditors, Alvin found that one of the roads in their city of Tagbilaran hadn't been constructed properly. Alvin helped gather feedback from other citizen in the community, who easily opened up to him. "We are both citizens, we own the projects," he said when asked what motivates him and others to be Citizen Auditors. Because of Alvin's and the community's feedback, relevant authorities were able to act on their concern, which led to the road being now fixed.

Marc Joseph Batoy, 20, is an Electrical Engineering Student in Tagbilaran City, Philippines. Marc is a Citizen Auditor who is helping monitor government projects, such as the reconstruction of the Tagbilaran City Hall, which has been severely damaged by an earthquake in 2013. "I don't want to be a mere spectator," he said, when it comes to the development of his community.
