ooc: just cus im curious, what were your plans for c!Callahan??
Well, originally there was ideas surrounding a god resurrection:
Callahan has actually been God since the very early days of the world. Long before the players arrived, he lived in the world. One day, the server picked him from mortality and brought him to godhood, laying him in the lap of the realm gods to form into their leader. After millenia of wrangling them, Callahan slowly became unfeeling, cruel. They were the source of the scars on the gods- save for the scar in HD's chest that represented l'manberg.
At one point, Lord Callahan made a mistake. They decided they should start over, give themselves what the mortals had- a life, love, a chance to see things as they did. They went to Lady Death to work out what a resurrection would do, how they could start fresh.
They worked together to make Lord Callahan mortal, taking away their powers, then killing and reviving them.
Upon revival, they wiped Callahan's memory and replaced it with false memories- ones of being friends with people on the server, mainly the Dream Team. Without the millennia of existence, Callahan was able to form a more mortal personality and existence. And then the server filled him with godhood again, and the cycle began anew, though this version of Callahan had attachments and therefore sided with mortals on many things.
Lord Callahan had warned the Realm Gods to not tell their post-resurrection self about their history. I hadn't yet figured out what would have happened if they did.
Alyssa was never actually here in this world. Another false memory to create mortal attachment.
Eventually Callahan would have found out one way or another. Not sure how.
Most other things were done on whims and others were me just winging it.
Another plan I had originally was to have callahan be part of the syndicate, taking the part of harpocrates, but that didn't really get anywhere from the start. The rose part of silencedrose is actually a symbol of the silent god- hanging a rose above the entry of a room was a symbol that all states in the room stayed there among those people.
It's easier to explain my plans with specific questions, so feel free to ask specifics!!!
