Group Meeting with Stephen & Milka
Time for our third group meeting with Stephen & Milka!
Milka – Showing more research, relevant to the production, she has summarised it.
Stephen – American Research Company have looked at savings to be made if problems are resolved on site. Looked at 1st generation of products, they are now on 3rd/4th design of these products (this is when the money can be saved).
Augmented –> to change. Make something fit for purpose even more.
Augmented classes –> change your vision/add to your vision, i.e you can still see the real world but with an additional image.
Memunah - idea of glasses in hospitals, to see through to our organs. (idea used in film, Iron Man) Great to have glasses that bring up their personal details and all linked up to Facebook etc.
Stephen – Kinect power advert, “Kinetic”? A suit etc was added to the man <– Very interesting! This technology is available now, (e.g, Xbox with Kinetic camera).
Memunah – Already virtual models in the window dressing.
Stephen – Virtual and Augmented reality not to be confused. Virtual vision totally covers the eyes, and the new visions is an illusion. Augmented is vision that is added to enhanced.
Milka & Stephen – Need to sort through all the paperwork – too much at the moment. They need to piece together some of the key text with the images. Stephen to put the images and texts together then pass it to me to control it in illustrator.
Milka – Won’t look further but will summarise her findings. She will work withStephen to combine text/images.
Milka – Memunah can help her put her data into visual presentation ready for April.
Stephen – As Milka doesn’t have illustrator – does she just want to give feedback toStephen and Memunah?
Stephen needs to do a lot of work on the document. Memunah to look at it and advise on look/layouts.
Milka has almost finished her part of the project, her research backs up the group arguments.
Possible, in the future –> look at the public’s feedback (if you get any) i.e look at market research (Karen’s side of the project).
Milka needs to get down her ideas and research onto her blog as Stephen can pull out ideas.

Memunah to select colours, she is still checking the colours. She has a rough idea and is going to play with the design she is open to their ideas/can make changes. (Looked at Illustrator Document) –> Dropbox
Memunah showed her rough ideas for layouts.. Proposal –> This is what our idea is, our aims and objectives.
Memunah - What images and icons do you want me to illustrate? Font needs to be confirmed.
Stephen - To borrow the layout ideas from Memunah, he will put in some very rough places holder graphics – for Memunah to use on Illustrator. Stephen needs to play with the ideas.
Stephen to give a draft version of the illustrator document to Memunah and Milkaso they can give feedbacks plus Memunah will design these icons Stephen chosen and make sure everything is match in 4 x A3 Documents.
Well that was good meeting and help me understand clear. We all know what to do so it shouldn’t be problem, I am going to sort the font and colour out and put into Illustrator document so I have to wait till Stephen to give me the images so I can illustrating icons and get these ready in no time. We looking forward to this thursday for Stephen’s draft illustrator document so we can give feedback and I can design everything to match my style so we can have another feedback on next monday, hopefully everything will be done by RSA deadline! After that, we will focus on our final presentation!
