More than a week later, I bring y'all Maji's sketch page!

They can hide in their hats, which they HATE having taken off, and they enjoy stargazing!

Now it's Grubby's turn to have a sketch page! Though, I was having a little trouble getting my pen to cooperate tonight though.

Also, yes, these sketch pages are all gonna have a little something showing the critters gaining some traits from being around each other.

Another inked sketch page. This time it's Tads. Honestly, there wasn't much I could think to do with them honestly other than show off it's Yoshi tongue.

I am not good at posing tadpole tails.

My drawing tablet recently died, so I did some sketching on paper. Specifically of Boanz to show they DO have a lower jaw, and to practice expressions.

Grimbone

Boanz × 2

A Boanz which overcame it's emptiness, no longer constantly seeking to feed. It quietly lurks in the dark, watching over other Boanz and attempting to guide them into overcoming their hunger as well. To battle, Grimbone can extend vicious scythes from both of it's arms to slash at foes. It has a particular dislike for Hoghoul.

Furphin

Gupple + Furbin

Social pack hunters that thrive in the sea, often resting on beaches between hunts. When owned by tamers, they often require lots of grooming and positive affirmation, especially when without another of it's kind.

Devungus

Mushtool + Dervin

A devilish mushroom with a collar of tendrils that it uses to ensnare prey and shove it into it's maw. If it loses it's tendrils, devungus will instead swing it's head around like a sledgehammer to crush it's prey until it's tendrils grow back.

Leolord

Furbin + Royaplush

In spite of it's cute, goofy appearance, Leolord is a serious leader that will do everything in it's power to protect it's 'subjects'. It is a surprisingly cunning strategist as well, but dislikes chess due to the need to sacrifice pieces to make plays.

Infernewt

Tads + Dragling

Having absorbed dragonfire, infernewt thrives in the heat. However, as an amphibian, it still requires water to survive. As such, it can usually be found where there are hot springs. The flames it produces from it's back, tail, and horns can be extinguished without bringing harm to infernewt, but the task of doing so can be considered sisyphean.

This one is a completely new beast, replacing Rodgort, which I may or may not resurrect in a different combo. Made that choice after merging the fire elemental into Dragling.

Hoghoul

Porklin + Boanz

Overcoming it's fear of boanz, a porklin began to hunt and consume the apparently undead creatures, developing into a vicious alpha predator with bony plates adorning it's massive body.

Originally called Boarbone, this is the last one of the originals to be traced at a higher resolution.

Thorf

Skwire + Sparkin

Granted the power of lightning and thunder, a skwire exchanged it’s wooden sword for a hammer, which it wields with muscular arms. It’s wild red hair gives it a ferocious appearance as it charges into battle against others of it’s species. Producing electricity from the horns on it’s helmet, it raises it’s hammer to get charged by them before unleashing shocking, thunderous blows.

I decided to make this guy a bit taller and hairier, look a bit more like a redhead dwarf rather than just a head with arms and legs.

Pipfall

Pippin + Dervin

Under the influence of darkness, a Pippin grew into a powerful warrior, it’s golden halo broken and a fiery red and it’s silver wings stained a dark black. Pipfall is vicious when hunting and even more so when fighting.

Skulletar

Goober + Boanz

The unfortunate result of a boanz consuming a goober and subsequently being absorbed by it's would-be prey. In spite of it's ghastly appearance, it maintains a friendly demeanor and happily guides travelers through dangerous environments.

The first of the original fusions that got redesigned. I felt like the previous skulletar's face felt a little flat.
