Infernewt

Tads + Dragling

Having absorbed dragonfire, infernewt thrives in the heat. However, as an amphibian, it still requires water to survive. As such, it can usually be found where there are hot springs. The flames it produces from it's back, tail, and horns can be extinguished without bringing harm to infernewt, but the task of doing so can be considered sisyphean.

This one is a completely new beast, replacing Rodgort, which I may or may not resurrect in a different combo. Made that choice after merging the fire elemental into Dragling.

Thorntuga

Dragling + Spikorn

An ambush hunter with a sturdy, spiked shell. Thorntuga sits partially buried in the ground with its head, limbs, and tail retracted into it's shell, waiting for prey to approach. When it senses the opportunity, it launches it's head from it's shell to snap it's powerful jaws on it's prey.

Mushtool + Dragling

A mushtool that has taken a fiery, reptilian form, Hottox wields a toxin that can cause intense burns. Their territories are often marked by a burning smell in the air.

Dragling + Gidget

As it grew and faced fierce, scarring battles, dragling modified it's damaged body with robotics. The tip of it's tail functions as both a ray blaster and an energy absorber.

Rodgort

Created by fusing a Tads with a Dragling

A vicious beast only spoken of in rumor. Referred to as the Golden Glutton, it is known to have evolved from a tads living in a harsh environment that it was not meant to dwell in. In exchange for a massive, powerful body to help it survive, it’s intelligence had dropped drastically. It is now only driven by the instincts to eat and survive.
