Skwire + Sparkin

Granted the power of lightning and thunder, a skwire exchanged it’s wooden sword for a hammer, which it wields with muscular arms. It’s wild red hair gives it a ferocious appearance as it charges into battle against others of it’s species. Producing electricity from the horns on it’s helmet, it raises it’s hammer to get charged by them before unleashing shocking, thunderous blows.

I decided to make this guy a bit taller and hairier, look a bit more like a redhead dwarf rather than just a head with arms and legs.

Masters of powerful thunder magics, they can often be found during fierce storms, absorbing lightning bolts. They are often 'hired' to act as lightning rods in stormy cities.

After braving multiple thunderstorms and constant exposure to sparkin, a porklin underwent a miraculous evolution to resemble a thunder god. With it's 8 drums, it calls forth lightning and thunder to herald the arrival of massive storms.

Sparkin and Pyrobark

Sparkin form at at the end of a lightning storm, but are very vulnerable to being put out by stray raindrops. Pyrobark form when the trees around them finally dry, but remembering the damp of the outside world they protect themselves inside the trunks of deads trees, burning it slowly. 

When taken under the wing of a trainer, or very rarely by their own account they can either overcome their worry and evolve into Hengnis if they evolve in the wild. They bridge the gap between trees, often initiating wildfires for amusements sake. Those that do quickly learn a valuable lesson that a tree can only be burnt once.

Alternatively, if they choose to live a slower more comfortable life, and evolve while in civilisation, they settle into a Pehwr, more peacable and more stable, and nestles into the dry earth around itself. This forme is preferred amongst the peoples of Ishi, though some warriors make good use of Hegnis.
