Snooty dragon giving his snootiest snoot.
If you are wondering when I'll ever get tired of drawing portraits of this big mean snake the answer is that I simply won't :) that's my emotional support terrible creature. (He does not do his job.)

This old pic of Don Vallus fell through the cracks while I was still learning the ins and outs of procreate sometime last year. I never draw him that rugged and scaly anymore, but he's a shapeshifter so this may have just been a phase for him anyway. (Like an embarrassing goth highschool photo, but for dragons.)
I have recently picked up New Horizons again after several years of letting my island go fallow to restart everything fresh again, and that had me thinking what Don Vallus might look like as a villager.
He is snooty and mean to everyone and his house is made of gold and paintings he refuses to donate to the museum. (They are HIS. For HIM ONLY.)
A love letter to one of my favorite game franchises- Monster Hunter!
One of the first experiences I had with this series was playing with my brother and partner on our tiny little DS screens, with only one charger to share between the three of us. This is a moment from that day immortalized as it deserves to be.
(Babel Spear, my beloved.)
Had a number of friends finally cave to my partner and I pressuring everyone we know to play Outer Wilds and Echoes of the Eye and got to watch and live the story over vicariously again which surely added years back onto my life.
It also made me wonder what the Owlks looked like as little space chicks, so here is my wet muppet rendition of that.
Inspired dearly by the National Theatre's production of Phantom of the Opera last year, I found a precious screenshot of Raoul and Christine backstage playing up to the camera in costume and simply had to draw Knox and Helena in the same pose. I could not resist the vibes.
I also have been slowly working on a new and exciting dnd adventure! This small format campaign takes place with players finding themselves to new operating owners of the infamous Theatre Macabre, a renowned opera house with secrets to unfold aplenty!
Tiberious Basalt is among the first of the npcs they meet, the hassled and debonair symphony conductor who has had to take on further and further director duties after the previous owner disappeared and abandoned them mere weeks before their next performance...
Well well well! After a hiatus from posting I am back with a backlog!
Starting with this comm from January for a dapper mothman! I rarely get to draw something so fun on a job, so this was a very special treat to work on! (And I would die for a coat like that too frankly.)
A few months back @puddleorganism drew a portrait of my Dragon Don Vallus as one of their spec bio species from their comic and world building project Over the Edge of the Horizon! It made me want to try out the design too! Although it might not be the most accurate for a Sunseeker I still had a lot of fun trying to mesh the designs! (and Sunseekers are very very cool.)
I'm a day late for Appreciate a Dragon day, but I do appreciate dragons! I do!
Likewise it was only natural for our dnd tabaxi Constable to get an update as well! No one said tabaxi coats can't change over time, and the quirky little mustache suits our circus ringleader very well!
So we adopted a kitten.
His name is Constable. He has a little white mustache and socks. His whiskers seem to take after Randy though in less magnificence and more so in that they grow like weeds. His favorite game is 'Scary Cat' in which, as pictured here, he hops at us wildly trying to be as intimidating as possible while we pretend to run away. It is always followed by headbutts of assurance that he was just pretending- in case we were actually scared.
He might be the perfect creature with the least survival skills I have ever known. I had to take him off the keyboard twice while typing this.
Happy Holidays and New Year to all my fine fellow tumblrinas. Here's my annual winter critter art!
Hope you all find fun, comfort, and better horizons in 2026 :)
Pokedex 182,
Prized for their beauty and graceful dancelike motions, Bellossom are often crossbred for new colors and patterns. They are a staple at floral faires and showcases the world over.
And thats a wrap on this years poketober! Hope you enjoyed the first foray into Johto! Here's to the rest of the dex!
Pokedex 181, Ampharos
Ampharos evolve when their commitment to a trainer outgrows their familial bonds to any flock. They become acutely powerful with electricity and make for powerful allies in battle when properly raised.
Pokedex 180, Flaafy
In every herd of mareep one or two alphas will take on more protective natures to their fellows, evolving in time to grow more bristly wool and shed their softer down. Trained Flaafy remain deeply loyal to both their flock and trainers, seeing them as no different than one of their sheep to watch over.
Pokedex 179, Mareep
Mareep are highly docile when in a group and make for excellent fiber craft with their rampantly growing wool. Singled from a herd however, these pokemon will prove not to be so meek as they seem, making searches for lost mareep best done with a few friends in tow.
Pokedex 178, Xatu
Xatu are an evolutionary phenomenon that appear to have only developed after the species introduction to humans. It appears that while some flying types tend to mimic speech and sound, Xatu chooses to mimic in its own way.
