I was too lazy for a proper background xD
Changed her hair to one from Sims . :3
│ ♔ │ Unfortunately for the Athena, many had tried to keep Loki quiet, only to have the thought spat back at them. The trickster god wasn’t one to stay silent for long, if at all. It was too fun seeing people suffer, seeing them close themselves off as he did his best to hit home. Gods and goddesses made it so easy too, since they practically had their entire life written by the mortals. It was easy to pull their strings when they displayed them like a human dangling yarn above a cat. He just HAD to bat at it.
Moving from his less than comfortable position on the rock, he went to stand close to her. Not too close, he was still aware she was a threat. But close enough so she could see how much he didn’t quite care. If she did strike, he always had the ability to go invisible. Though a stab wound from her spear would still be evident, he could get away quickly if need be. But that was thinking ahead, he had to be in the moment now. He smiled widely at her, acting as though he was a child hearing stories from his father for the first time. If only Odin ever did such a thing, perhaps he wouldn’t have turned out so…This.
❝Just a second ago, you seemed to care for Ares. Now you’re sitting here telling me exactly what Zeus has told me,❞ A part of him wanted to prod at her, poking her cheek and side, but he knew that wasn’t going to be the best idea. ❝‘ Ares is awful, he’s not my son! He’s a failure to his siblings, and to his parents. I would never have such a child, and let him live! ‘ Such harsh words for someone so young and reckless. Though it explains the recklessness, don’t you think?❞
A cackle broke his words, glowing emerald eyes watched curiously once more. Loki bent down to be about eye level with the goddess. He didn’t care any more, she could attack him and he would be fine with it. What an ironic thought, considering just moments ago he was preparing for the worst. Now he thought he could take her? She was in such a pitiful state, it would’ve been easy. The weak tend not to fight back.
❝Thanatos is all nice and happy, to be sure, but he’s boring, no? What about your other siblings? Zeus rarely seems to care about them as well, but he doesn’t appear to hate them as much as he hates Ares,❞ Bringing his pale hand to his chin, he stroked it like Odin or Thor would. It just looked better for them, since they did have what he lacked in the facial hair area. ❝Doesn’t he just let Aphrodite walk around without a care? For sure I thought he would lock her in a dungeon. Though they’re pretty similar, with how often they brag about themselves. Suppose the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.❞
Compared to his movements, Athena stood like a statue--still and tall-- blue pools glued onto Loki. When he stood eye to eye with her, it took the Heavens above to keep her from striking. A good STAB to the GUT would not have shut him up, she knew, but, Gods, would it have felt so good.
Athena settled for simply moving her hand just enough to where the tip of her spear was under his chin. If he didn’t move that would have been fine, but if he tried anything against her she was not afraid to fight him back. He might have been from another pantheon, but she was sure they would have understood.
❝I do care for my brother, but that does not mean I will not point out his flaws.❞ Ares did have qualities that redeemed him, ones that her father could not see. She did pity Ares, in a way, not that she would admit it, at all.
The blonde swiped what he had said of her sister aside. Zeus would never do such a thing, and if he dared touch a golden lock on her head she would stand against him. Zeus knew better.
❝Tell me this, Loki.❞ Athena stared deep into the emerald eyes before her. ❝What do you gain out of all this?❞
Cassandra also foresaw the Battle of Troy and its subsequent fall, but, of course, no one believed her. In fact, she tried to warn Helen, who also didn't believe her.
❝I’m going to kill him.❞

Athena, do you remember the prophet, Cassandra and how no one believed her prophecies? Yeah, Apollo cursed her so that no one would believe her prophecies. He tried to seduce her and when she refused, he spat into her mouth, cursing her.

Ah, yes. How could she forget that minor detail?
“D-dear sister… that war was hardly my fault.” The woman blushed lightly, twirling a strand of perfectly silky blonde hair. Playing the innocent card would only get Aphrodite so far… and of course Athena ( and the rest of the Gods ) would remember that– being intuitive with war and wisdom and all that.
Hovering closer, the Goddess of Beauty pursed her plump pink lips. Winning her sister’s love again would make her feel a lot less lonely. Now was a time for change.
“I have missed you!” Aphrodite reached over to grasps the other’s hand with both of her own, “And I do hope I can… aid you within this new war, sister!”
It seemed to Athena that her dear sister could not own up to her mistakes. Then again, who was she to speak.
The sudden action of grasping her hands shocked the blonde, hesitating to pull away. Aphrodite sounded so... Desperate? No, excited. She was excited. Perhaps she yearned to rekindle their sisterly relationship, but with this war Athena would be busy beyond belief.
She wished she could take a break. No. They needed her. No breaks--not even for your siblings.
❝All I want you to do is stay out of trouble.❞ The Goddess would not admit what pain would strike if Aphrodite managed to fall into the hands of death. Her sister was strong, yes, but her healing could only do so much when surrounded by enemies. Oh, Gods...
Athena’s hands gripped around her sisters tightly, locking eyes and mustering up the most serious face she could.
❝If you are in trouble do not be afraid to call for help. I will defend you with my life.❞
"How do you feel about Deathwatch beetles?"
❝I’m afraid I do not know much of Deathwatch beetles to give an honest answer. My apologies.❞
Ask my character "How do you feel about ______?" Can be an idea, person(s), place, or thing, and they'll have to answer honestly.

“It was. Xuanzang needed bodyguards to protect him in his journey to India to retrieve the sacred Buddhist sutra. Of course, there were bandits and other humans who would do him harm, but demons believe that by devouring his flesh can grant them immortality, since he was reincarnated from a holy being.”
“When Master Xuanzang passed by my mountain, I volunteered to accompany him so I would be free of my prison. He broke the seal and I followed him. But I got into a fight with him after killing some bandits that were attempting to kill us and take his stuff. He really hated violence. ‘We may have been in danger, but you can’t kill!’” Sun Wukong said in a mocking tone. “As a result, Guanyin, the Buddha of Mercy, gave him a headband that he tricked me into putting on. So, whenever I didn something he didn’t like, he would recite a chant that would tighten the headband and cause me immense pain. It only got worse when the lazy pig, Zhu Bajie, joined, getting me into even more trouble. And before you say that I could have just taken the headband off, I couldn’t. It was impossible for me to take it off until the journey was complete.
Athena tapped at her chin in thought. She didn't remember the tale at the top of her head, though, it was better to have someone that was actually there tell her the story itself.
❝A headband that would tighten when you did something he didn’t like... Was it really that difficult to not kill? I understand that you are like a free spirit, following the rules is something that you do not like, but if it caused you immense pain, why not listen until the journey was over? Though... I want to assume this pig blamed a lot of his actions on you or that he tricked you into doing something that would get you in trouble...❞
@fxceme wants a kiss…
“Dear sister– “ Sing-song like, she hovered next to the other, “Are you still mad at me from that silly apple?”
Blue eyes turned big, to see Athena again had filled her belly with fluttering butterflies. Though, possible confrontation could not mask the eagerness.
With a puff of her cheek, arms looped behind the Goddesses’ back.
“… I hope that is not why you won’t see me… “
❝You caused a war, Aphrodite. People died over that “silly apple”.❞ A sigh passed the Goddess’ lips. She didn’t hate her sister, per say, to be fair it was a silly apple, but war was war. Athena had yet found a reason why she should be forgiven.
❝But, no, that is not why I do not visit. I have been busy with the current war we have found ourselves in.❞

Although it was true that she was the goddess of both wisdom and war, Thanatos knew his job was not a place for either of those attributes. Being in war and killing was very different from learning what the consequences of that death meant and how it effected everyone around it.
“I will take you with me,” He said plainly, gaze calm and unshifting. “But, you must understand that as a god of death I am to show no mercy to these people. It is not my job to show mercy, it is the fate’s job. They may go peacefully or they may go with a fight, either way the fact is that they must go. And I must be the one that takes them.” His hand clenched his scythe in remembrance of all the souls he’s took throughout his eternity. Some had been harder to take than others. The children especially.
“You also must not interfere. No matter how loud they scream, no matter how many pleas they make, they still have to go.“
Despite his relaxed way of speaking each word hit the Goddess with a force. They would plea. They would scream and fight, but in the end it would be fruitless. Death would win. Death always won.
And she hated it and could do nothing but watch as they get taken away with no remorse --no mercy. It had to be done. She had to understand that.
She had to praise Thanatos. What strength it must take for him to do such a thing... Then again this is what he was set to do. He was use to it, she was sure.
❝I will think nothing less of you. Thank you, Thanatos. I will keep away and let you do what needs to be done. You have my word.❞
