we all have lives outside of this and muses are fickle like, i get it and i never want anyone to be afraid that i’d hold it against them like if i send you a meme and you’re not feeling it? you don’t need to answer it

if we plot something and i make a starter and you’re not feeling it anymore? that’s okay too. even if halfway through a thread it feels like it’s going nowhere so you wanna drop it? that’s 100% okay

“The potion, but thank ya kindly!” Taras beamed. “Question though; is the potion only able ta turn any species human, or just Mer?”

Taras could find a use for the potion either way; but not needing to keep a certain spell on the back burner constantly would certainly be helpful.

Like; Pot Pies, Chicken and Gravy with Mash Potatoes, Chicken and Waffles with Maple Syrup, Chicken Tamale Pie, Gumbos, Casseroles, Even some Fried Chicken with corn on da cob and buttered fried greens, and many more since that’s just chicken~.” 

Taras could almost smell the food as they listed off options, eventually reaching the metal doors with him. “Do ya have a preference for ya meals? Any allergies ta avoid?”

"Oh? Well it all sounds delightful!" Already his mood is perking up, hearing all the different types of food this person can make. This leads to him feeling charitable enough to open the door for them so they can head in ahead of him. "No, no allergies that I'm aware of. My plate is open to anything!"

Energy. That’s the first thing Taras notices once that door opens, and for the briefest moment they hesitate; not because they were second-guessing themselves, no; because it felt so loud. While the air smelt sweeter now, little remanence of people and their magic lingered in a crowded place like this; setting the air all abuzz even when the sources had long since left; traces of magic and souls bounced and reflected off the many surfaces. For Taras, it was more activity than they were used to; but they said they’d help the Housewarden; so onward they went.

“Thank ya kindly, Sir,” they smiled. “That’s good ta know, now time to get cooking!” The question that lingered in their mind was at least a simple, ‘Now what to cook?’

Moving from where they stood, the Pomefiore student moved around him; eyes honed on the door while a hand reached to gently tug on the Housewarden’s sleeve.

“There a food you particularly enjoy; Meat, sweets, spicy or da like? Anything that brings good memories?” Despite their questions, Taras was more focused on going forward. The Lounge and the dorm felt like a bit of a paradox to them; though the same could be said of almost all the dorms; quiet but inexplicably loud.

Azul has no clue who this is; all he knows is that they're from Pomefiore. That said, he isn't sure whether their boldness in grasping at his sleeve is done with the knowledge that he doesn't generally enjoy having people tugging him around or not.

For once, he doesn't try to smack that hand away, or even scold them for doing it. Perhaps it's his bad mood that's to blame for the lack of snippiness. Either way, they get off easy today.

"I enjoy sweets; fried chicken; takoyaki. I'm generally not fond of nutritionally balanced foods...like salads."
