Alice is very close to her family, to her, they’re everything. She’s constantly writing letters back home to her parents, and constantly checking in on Edith to make sure things are going well, possibly to the point it could be considered hovering. With war on the horizon, it’s an effect of anxiety she holds. She doesn’t want to risk that something could be wrong, no matter how small.
Alice has a habit of stretching herself thin, trying to do the absolute most she possibly can. For awhile, on top of everything else, she was a member of Hufflepuff’s quidditch team. After joining the Order, she wound up dropping the team to throw her focus into working with them -- the idea that her efforts are better spent there, and what she’ll be a bigger part of beyond Hogwarts.
Alice’s guilty pleasure is muggle music. Every year, the family would take a trip into London over the summer holidays. As she grew older, she found herself slipping away from the family in the evenings to explore the city’s music scene. Something about it fascinated, the way instruments were constructed and used to create such varying sounds, the way it could bring her to relax, if even only for a few hours. Her favorite artist is Carole King.
