[BIRTHDAY PROJECT] Mingming’s 21st Lunar Birthday
Hello everyone, this is Double M, a fanbase specially for Mingming. As you guys know, Mingming will turn 21 next year (19 internationally) and to encourage him to do better in the upcoming days, I had like to have this project for his lunar birthday which will be on December. Chinese have this tradition that once we turn 21, we’ll receive a golden key from our parents that will represent ‘adult freedom’.
By now, you’d be questioning yourself, “why is mingming 21? Shouldn’t he be 19?” As Mingming’s birthday is before Chinese Lunar New Year, he is considered to be a year older (aka belonging to 1996’s babies), also Chinese usually use their lunar age, thus making him 21.
We will be holding 2 types of project:
1. Letter/Scrapbook messages. 2. Gifts/Presents.
We will be collecting any messages and letters from you and will be translating each of them into mandarin
so that Mingming will be able to read them and receive your blessings and love.
Below are the details for the letter/scrapbook:
- Letters should be less than 240 words
- Should not contain any profanity
- Will only be able to translate the messages in English or Korean.
- Will not alter your messages at all
- Please include your name (or nickname if you’d prefer that) and where you are from
- If you would like to send a fan art in, do include that!
For gifts/presents:
- Do not send items that could not be passed through the customs like perfume, perishable items
- Please email me if you would like to send a gift, I will send you my address for that
- Suggestions for gifts are stuffs like bracelets, ear studs, t-shirts
- Will not bare shipping fees from you to us, but will bare from us to Mingming.
Send any of your messages through email so that it won’t be ‘eaten’ up by the server. I will reply you as soon as possible when I receive it. If within 24 hours I do not reply you, please let me know! My email is [email protected].
Please do not expect Mingming to post online that he have received your items well, and will be wearing them often. I do not want any one of you to be disappointed when he doesn’t do that. And if he wants to, then I am pretty sure he will do that. (He’d most likely post a long essay about how he appreciate his supporters for being there for him and spoiling him.)
Note that I will be receiving letters and gifts until 01 November 2015.
I will be sending the gift as soon as I have them produced.
