My brother got me DmC and for the first time in 3 years I’ve been able to play it.

This is another Corrupted Vergil mod release; and quickly done at that. It’s basically a copy/paste from my Hollow Vergil mod, but some were disappointed I didn’t make one for Corrupted Vergil, so here? Included is my personal black attire version also (as always). Will get around to converting this over for the Vante mod, since that was asked for as well. Just keep an eye on my mods page as I will not be making a post on it. He will include the smoke, so if you don’t want that, use my no smoke mod with it. This is the ‘no glow’ version I use. So this will require more than just using a simple texture mod! Read the rules and instructions – which I made VERY clear. So please don’t message me asking how to do this or that, thank you. Again, this does not have to get liked, was mainly for those wanting it.

So DMC: Devil May Cry is one of my all time favorite games, and I went and looked at some of the reviews for it on Steam and these are my favorites:

i like to consider myself an avid player of devil may cry, specifically the reboot. i have the other 4, but the reboot is so far the only one i’ve finished completely, got all the keys, finished all the secret missions, upgraded everything to its fullest extent, got all the concept art, and bet all the difficulties. yes even hell and hell mode…

 and i will not lie, it was one hell of a challenge, but i beat it, and it only took me….

3 months

im not kidding. i spent maybe a week or two playing it on hell and hell mode, and it took me 3 months to beat it. the first 19 missions were hard, no doubt about it, but i finished them all pretty quickly.

but then i got to the final boss; vergil. i died… almost immediately. i couldn’t beat him, no matter how much i tried. he was fast, and strong, and im used to taking a few hits from him, but in hell and hell mode, you cant. one hit equals death, and i am not THAT skilled in dmc, so i died so many times. i even called a friend to come and help me, and she couldnt even do anything to help me beat him.

for a while, i never even touched the game, and then i started a new save file, on a sew slot, because i wanted to keep playing but just not deal with vergil in the first save file.

finally one day i decided enough was enough and went back to the original save file; i was going to beat vergil even if took me another 3 months. and i did it.

i got my achievement, i got the last of the concept art, i could finally sit down and fucking rest knowing i finally beat vergil in hell and mode with mostly using the arbiter.

and i am not doing it again
