We’ve Come A Long Way
Hey, everyone!
It’s been a few years. I don’t know who’s still following this blog these days, but I feel like an update is long overdue. Instead of boring you with a bunch of heavy details, I’ll get right to it.... by boring you with light expository details.
Obviously, I created this blog to pay tribute to all-things Insomniac Games, including the games and personalities at the studio. I’ve been on an incredible and remarkable journey since then. Don’t get me wrong: my love of the studio pre-dates FYIG by several years, but establishing this blog was a fantastic communal experience for me that resulted in some incredible friendships and new life goals. One of those goals was working for Insomniac Games, of course!
And Insomniac Games took notice. Here’s where I skip to it: we made it.
The studio hired me as its Senior Community Manager two weeks ago and I’ve just been so incredibly ecstatic and thrilled and overjoyed. I didn’t think it would happen as swiftly as it did. However, thanks to a long and eventful career, I built up the experience and know-how to make it happen. Even then, this is beyond anything I expected.
If you’ve followed this blog since the beginning or continued to keep it around well after any proper updates (for reasons beyond me!), know that I appreciate every ounce of support that came my way. I owe that to the Insomniac Games community on here and I’ll never forget that.
We went from a Lombax stranded on a desert planet to a full-on Galactic Ranger.... incredible.
Thank you so much, friends.
