Marvel Gamerverse theory

Just a random thought involving Spider-Man Ps4 and the upcoming Avengers game(SquareEnix). What if they do take place in the same universe. But not in the way you're thinking. So we know the game takes place five years after "A-Day", and the Avenger's disbanded. But what if this five years is also like a year or two after Spider-Man? I mean, Avenger's tower would still be around in New York, and possibly still used if it provides clean power to the city( like the MCU version). therefore the city wouldn't destroy the tower, and the left it as a monument to the disbanded team. It would explain why the Avengers never showed up during the whole Doc Ock/Sinister Six/Devil's Breath fiasco, which was a city-wide pandemic. You'd think the Avenger's would try to figure out/stop it. Unless the Avenger's were disbanded at the time. I might just be losing my mind a little though....
