Appreciation for all the beautiful color decisions made for the Flight Before Christmas. I love the lighting design for the different times of day. I think the prop snow (Not CGI! That’s a real life material!) looks wonderful, as close to real snow as they can get. I love the atmospheric perspective (again these are small sets! Not computer animated, so it’s a really cool detail to add that depth). The clouds!

We already know that Aardman is an insanely talented studio creating works of stop motion art. But these winter scenes cater so much to my aesthetic that I just have to point them out.

So it’s some kind of weird cult where they wear vegetable costumes and dance around a big thing. They seem nice enough.
