Ok:Go’s GALE released 2nd song ‘HOOTED’ off of his upcoming mixtape: KALEIDOSCOPE EYES

Two months ago, 2K announced that Gale  will be releasing his second mixtape entitled as ‘Kaleidoscope Eyes’ digitally via soundcloud, and released the first track: Check In which featured Soloist Taehyun, Unplugged’s Artzi and fellow Ok:Go member Bin. Today, after a lot of delay, Gale finally released the second track entitled as HOOTED, which features rappers Rubi of Pandora, Trigger of TripleK, E:Jei of Utopia, and vocals from Unplugged’s Rex.

As for the song, it won’t be for sale, nor be promoted. It is considered as a non promotional activity.  Are you excited for Gale’s 2nd mixtape or tired of waiting?

[Vlive Showcase] 크로커스 (Κrόκοs)_Love Expedition

On February 14th, Girl group Κrόκοs debuted as Cupids hoping to melt the heart of the ones they love. Later that day, they held a concert length debut showcase due to all of the hard work they have done up to their debut.

The debut showcase not only showcases their performances from their album but other performances they have prepared, covers, dance routines, etc. They have solo acts, which are the songs from their member introducing, and duet acts (in which one has featured a fellow label mate from Double Kill Entertainment, Gale ( @jnwoog​ )) that have music created by the Κrόκοs members themselves.

Κrόκοs have worked hard in order to live up to their fans’ expectations, as well as the public, and have not only created their own music but also have choreographed a few of the routines seen in the v live, with the help and revision of their professional choreographer. In this showcase the girls have not only showcased their debut image of a fun, bright, yet comical image but also an image that was briefly seen pre-debut, such as their edgier and feminine side.

[ OK:GO’S SPECIAL V APP FOR VALENTINES DAY ]

The opening of OK:GO’s V APP went about normal in the beginning, greeting the viewers and informing about their whereabouts. During this time, the five of the group members congratulated their maknae, Gale on his graduation on February 10th. 

However, it didn’t take long for these six beagle-like boys to get hyped up through out the V LIVE.

They prepared gigs such as, acting out cheesy and dramatic scenes from famous Korean Dramas ( Descendant of the Sun, Goblin, and Reply 1988, which were all dramas with high ratings from 2016 ), taking in requests, answering questions and communicating with the fans.

For their first gig, despite getting giggly among themselves, they were able to deliver laughter, amusement and amazement with their acting skills to the viewers.

JELLYBEAN’S KIMIKO AND OK:GO’S GALE SURPRISE FANS WITH UPBEAT CHOREOGRAPHY

The two maknaes teamed up to perform a upbeat and fun choreography which showcased the two’s dancing ablilites which included some rather difficult lifts and couple-movements proving that the two young idols are a force to be reckoned with.

Insiders at Double Kill claim that the two are said to be rather close in the company with the pair being partners in crime. Hopefully we get the chance to see more of the two together as well as more from Ok:Go and Jellybeans in the upcoming future.

    Ok:Go’s maknae: GALE, graduates high school!

On February 10, the graduation ceremony for the students of Hanlim Multi-Arts School took place, and out of the many idol stars graduating from the institute is Ok:Go’s Gale.  With the maknae graduating, all members of Ok:Go are now officially adults.

Currently, Gale’s graduation photos from the ceremony are roaming the web, melting the hearts of many fans. Some fans are even shocked at the fact that the maknae of Ok:Go is already graduating high school.

A few days ago, 2K announced that Gale (@jnwoog) will be releasing his second mixtape entitled as ‘Kaleidoscope Eyes’ digitally via soundcloud, and released a teaser photo for Check In which features 3 other male rappers consists of Crisis’ Taehyun (@sajinyul), Unplugged’s Artzi (@artzily ) and fellow Ok:Go member Bin (@dvidkm). They released the special clip in the form of an mv for the song Check In in OkGo’s youtube account today. The music video fits well with the song’s content. It is also filmed for 2 months in various locations.

Ok:Go released a teaser photo of GALE’s digital single ‘Check In’ for his 2nd mixtape: Kaleidoscope Eyes.

Last year, Ok:Go’s main rapper, maknae, and former SMTM contestant Gale (@jnwoog) released his first mixtape entitled as ‘Star Child’, which serves as an introduction to who he is as an artist. This time, the male rapper is set to release his second mixtape via soundcloud around February with a whole new image and concept. To hype things up for the mixtape, he’ll release special clips of 3 songs from the track list in the form of music videos. Today 2K announced that the first track will be a collaboration with his fellow Ok:Go member Bin (@dvidkm), Crisis’ Taehyun (@sajinyul), and yet-to-debut group Unplugged’s Artzi (@artzily) entitled as ‘Check In.’ The video for the said song is filmed through various locations.

The song and mixtape will be released digitally via soundcloud and is announced as a non-promotional activity.

jung hyesu, known to be 2k entertainment’s actress and songwriter, finally makes her first ever self-composed album, titled blossom. the album will be promoted, mostly through the collaborations that make up most of the album. she worked with eleven artists/idols to make this album as the best she could be. blossom is an album that reminisces the idea of love and warmth of spring. jung hyesu worked for months to collaborate with different artist from 2k entertainment as well as other artists and put out this album.

jung hyesu releases the third of four MVs for her collaboration album!

the third constellation of music video has been released, this one featuring Hans of Utopia [ @i87cm ], Chunji of TEENTOP [ @leechxhee ], Napper [ @nqppr ], and Gale of OK:GO [ @jnwoog ] with the spring time song <Not Spring, Love or Cherry Blossoms>.

another song with bright pastels and pinks, the music video features the four artists above, surrounded by falling cherry blossoms. the song tells about how the seasons change, and everyone falls in love… besides the girl. It’s a sweet tune that will remind us of new love.

it is unsure if the artists and hyesu will be promoting this album, due to the fact that there are so many different artists and it will be difficult to fit schedules so that everyone can promote. representatives have not yet a statement about whether or not they will be promoting this album.

OK:GO’s GALE Amazes Netizens With His Intellectual Prowess on “1 vs. 100”

On January 6, origami master Kim Young Man faced off with 100 participants on CKS 4TV’s quiz program, “1 vs. 100.”

Kang Jinwoo, or  better known as Gale of rookie boy idol group Ok:Go , and younger brother of Utopia’s Cosmo, guested on this broadcast as “celebrity quiz participants.” Gale alone managed to pass round seven, and along with a non-celebrity, became the final two contestants facing off against Kim Young Man.

After this particular broadcast aired, Gale is receiving a lot of love and interest from the netizens for his handsome looks and intellectual charms. 

During OK:GO’s pre-debut days, Gale gained much attention for his child-like charms, small face, tall height, and impressive rap skills through SMTM4. After his appearances on SMTM4 before and  now 1 vs. 100, many are calling him “mother’s friend’s son” (a term to describe someone who’s an ideal son).

The male idol is currently ranked 4 in his whole class level and is reported to graduate this year in Hanlim Multi-Arts School. He also stated that he’s going to focus studying more as well as being an idol.
