"I appreciate you wanting to spare me." It was then he pulled him closer, the arm around him making it easy to urge him further into Tyr's space. They aligned in so many ways, on so many things, especially when it came to things like this. He would be surprised if this was the thing that they were at odds on. The chance of course was there but it was slim and for that he was grateful. It had not occurred to him whether he would want that himself until he'd been subject to such extensive discussions. Now that he was thinking about it he found it prodded at a deep, almost primal, need within him. "But there is nothing to spare me from my love. I have learned, quite abruptly, that it is something I am very attracted to and am compelled of my own volition to pursue."

Even this they were in agreement on as he couldn't imagine this with any other. He loved him so fiercely he would give him all that he asked for and more if he was able. Tyr did his best to provide for Jace in all aspects, in and out of his chambers. He considered this to simply be on more thing that he was fulfilling for him, yet this would satisfy him deeply. It was something that favored Tyr as much, if not perhaps slightly more.

"I am quite certain you would look stunning in the aftermath," he leaned forward cheek pressing against the Prince's to whisper in his ear,"the image of you leaking onto the sheets is already so enticing." He shifted then, moving back just enough to capture his lips in a slow but heated kiss.

No Resistence was given as Tyr pulled him closer, moving him fully into the other's space, almost pressed against him as it was and Jace was finding that even the touch between them right now was not near enough, and if this was not as serious of a conversation as it was (or had been) he'd take that extra step close the distance between them fully. a slight shift of relief hit him as Tyr confirmed it wasn't forced, but wanted and very much so at that. He'd always taken his duty at protecting and providing for Jacaerys to the best of his ability, and Jace counted himself lucky that he was fortunate enough to have someone like Tyr, both in and out of their chambers. but, this, should be for them both, not just because the Prince willed it. Tyr had agreed, not because he'd asked, but because he wanted it as much as Jace did.

soft sound iminated from the prince at Tyr's words, heat rising to cheeks, the image presented was enticing, he had to admit. especially knowing the steps to get to that image. being filled with Tyr's seed that much would be more than worth sitting through tonight's dinner.

"then I invite you to make it a reality, since there's talk of needing an heir," anything else he could have said was cut short by the press of lips to his, a slow but heated thing, one which he returned in both cadence and need.

Answer was as expected, for the most part, until he paused obviously weighing his next words. This discussion already held a degree of tension given the way the future would have to unfold eventually. Though found relief in admission that Jace found it to be no more than another duty settled upon his shoulders. That relief began to dissipate as he alluded to desiring such an outcome from one in particular. Even with all his confidence and solidity he believed them to have it did not keep nerves at bay before he explained. What an explanation it was.

Smile unfurled slowly on his lips at the admission. That was the very outcome he had found himself suddenly very invested in and hoping for. Arm slipped around his waist loosely, settling the Prince into embrace as warm gaze met the others. "You truly think I would be opposed to such a thing?" He chuckled at the very suggestion. "I am in fact deeply interested in giving that to you."

Tyr understood there may be a touch of hesitancy given how long it had taken them to get here. He was so fiercely dedicated to his duty and remaining within the bounds of what he believed appropriate that he had deprived them of their true wants for some time. That had long since passed and he couldn't imagine now being anything other than they were even with it's complexities it was worth it.

he could almost see the tension and worry bleed through onto the other man's features. it was strange to see, as he had always been the sturdy beam in all the chaos that had been the last many years, even more so now. he almost wished he'd lead with the statement of no one else's but Tyr's. that statement too might have caused such a reaction so he really did not have a best way forward, so, might as well stumble on like a dragon in deep fog.

slowly, that smile unfurled and it released the tension within him. not only did he understand exactly who Jace's interests fully lay with, he seemed to understand the watn and almost need, and shared the same. of course he would, Jacaerys should have known better than to doubt him in at least the first aspect of it. the latter.... should also not have surprised him either as they often aligned in their tastes when it came to that.

"now that its been brought up, it does sound a bit... unreasonable to assume but, in my defense, I did not want to push more onto you that you did not feel compelled to do or be."

During the dealings they were expected to attend Tyr's only objective was to essentially blend in, be as close to invisible as one could be while remaining highly alert. He was all too accustomed to it unless security matters came up. While he was more or less an extension of Jace during these things, meant only to exist in the background, it meant he was subject to whatever conversation came along. Tyr had gotten quite good at not giving it too much mind unless it truly was of note in one way or another.

A thing that was now of note to him on a personal level was the whole discussion surrounding lineage. It was expected of Jace to marry, an heir the next logical and anticipated step to follow a union. Tradition said that he would do this if for nothing other than creating an alliance. Before this would have held little interest for him. However it deeply impacted him now. Tyr was invested in how that would eventually come to fruition. It was not insecurity or concern, it was logistics. He did not doubt they would sort it out between them when the time came.

The approach this evening had been heavy and quite direct. While he may not be concerned for them that did not make it easy to hear it laid before him the way it had been tonight. Once released he was relieved to be behind closed doors and in the privacy of Jace's chambers.

"Do not apologize. They were a touch heavy in their approach but it is a conversation of note." With the door firmly shut behind him he moved to lace fingers with the Prince's. "Though tradition tends to skip over things I believe to be of equal importance. Such as whether you would even want an heir? Does that appeal to you?"

He knew in the long run these answers would not matter beyond these walls, beyond the two stood here and now. That did not mean he couldn't ask. It mattered to Tyr. The answers mattered a great deal to him he was realizing as he waited for response.

There were certainly advantages to his lover and his bodyguard being one in the same, however discussions of that nature wasn't one of them. in fact, he had almost asked for it to be tabled until they were alone, though, it would be hard to ask for such in such a public arena without being met with some raised brows. so, he bore it, but wished for its ending much before it actually came.

hands reached for his and he obliged, the familiar and comfort in them steadying him a little. This man, his anchor, his sheild, his love. he could fold here, fold into him, and as long as they had sanctuary to fall into, things would be fine.

Jace knew the answer was inconsequencial to the main question. he was heir apparent to the Iron Throne, whether he liked it or not, one day there would have to be an heir from him regardless, and that required marriage. but as he looked at Tyr, he couldn't fathom going back to what they had been before, just for the sake of politics.

"no, not fully," he admitted, "its a duty I must preform but it's not my desire to produce one, unless...." he paused for a moment, hesitation crossing his features breifly as he considered what his next statement would be. he knew the answer, but it would be rather Tyr would accept it as truth or him being a bit of a pain? "there's really only one person that I would accept that from, willingly actually want it with, and I don't think they'd be keen on it, since it's... you."

He'd known it was inevitable. the converstaion would always haunt him until things were settled and so was he. he knew to hold his tongue during these things, best to sort it out with his mother later, if possible. the rumors of being a bastard son seemed to not matter as much now that he was next in line for the Iron Throne, and while claims were still being fought over and disputed, the fact remained that he was next in line. but, that meant a fact he already was well aware of : he was a bargaining chip to be peddled to as alliances were needed. which, was the topic of discussion now.

he'd born it, and while the disussion held merit, he didn't like to dwell on it. yes, alliances were needed and he himself probably needed an heir sooner rather than later if this war of succession was to continue, but that meant removing himself from the person he actually loved. his mother, had been good enough to not force it upon him yet, just... remind him from time to time. tonight, had been one of the more prominent discussions and he had been eager to escape back to his chambers.

door shut behind him and he let out a breath, "my apologies for you having to be subjected to that tonight, I didn't expect her or Daemon to be as... blunt, as they had been."

Mystery, as usual, had been sent to entertain the younger of their visitors while her father played politics. It was her duty to be friendly and if this had been a first meeting she may have actually taken on her full, proper persona of a Princess. As it was they were familiar enough she didn't feel it necessary. Playful express fell over her as she reached the landing and eyes fell over them. With ease she descended the stairs to meet them, the click of heel against stone announcing her every step. "Lovely seeing you again. Hope you're not too disappointed it's only me."

footfalls he knew well desended the steps. had this been someone or someplace unfamiliar to him, he might have put on much more of a posture. straight, back, relaxed, but regal when needed. today though, he was thankful that it was her, airs were not needed nor were daggers hidden within words. Jacaerys had been involved in many a political meeting, but, there were still ones that he found himself on the other side of the door on. frustrating at times, but, he understood it.

He had never been unaware of the Prince's attraction. One of the things that made him so apt when it came to his duties was being able to notice the smallest of things. Even when the Prince was being subtle in allowing that interest surface Tyr had noticed. He simply never acknowledged it. Given their stations he knew it wouldn't be wise to do so. His own feelings were often put to the wayside. Except that evening he'd had to ensure his charge didn't go out to die in a battle he had no place in. It had broken through the surface for the briefest of moments and he knew that it had been noticed before he was able to firmly put it back down in the depths where it belonged.

There was no preparing what had followed. It was like now that Jace had the scent, the slight confirmation of reciprocation, he would not leave well enough alone. Should anyone else pay them any mind it all seemed above board and routine. The truth was quite different. Each opportunity to push him the Prince took. Every day he found new ways to test his resolve. A particularly strong testing came during training. Sparring was one such time it was practically encouraged to be incredibly hands on and close with him. Tyr had come so close to breaking, doing something stupid and giving in to impulses. Yet he would not be in his position if he gave in to impulses so easily and so he recovered quickly. Such willpower surely came from forces outside himself and he was grateful for it.

His week of being tested had come to a close, at least he believed as much, and there was a reprieve in the privacy of his chambers. Settling for the evening had granted ample time to read and enjoy quiet. Though quiet he still heard the door and subsequent footsteps. It did not seem urgent. He looked up all the same curious who was visiting him so late. What he was met with was a striking sight and one he had not even considered to be among the possibilities. Eyes met, he knew his were widened slightly, and the Prince spoke as if this was entirely normal. Absently book was shut and set aside Tyr almost baffled given current situation.

There was not enough restraint or patience that could get him through this. He hadn't even heard a single word that had actually been said. For once Tyr found he had no concern or interest in decorum. Eyes drifting from Jace's and over his form, tongue wetting lips as he tried to pull a single thought forward beyond the shock he found himself in. "Your majesty",he breathed the words. He shifted, legs falling over the side of the bed as he faced him properly. There was no denying his own interest and hunger now. Still he sat, unmoving, openly drinking in the bare form stood before him.

The change and shift was immediate, and, Jace had figured there would be little to no mercy for Tyr once he committed to this part of the plan. He didnt even think the patience and willpower granted by all the gods themselves would be enough when faced with something like this so openly, or at least, that had been the hope of it. Had he not been as certain as he was of his success, he wouldn’t have done this to the extreme that he had. The payoff was immediate and obvious.

Eyes widened, he caught almost an intake of breath as eyes now drug across his skin with an unfettered hunger, drinking him in as he stood there. There was no move to hide it, no aversion of eyes, he looked upon the form of the prince as he’d hoped he would, past stations and to the person underneath it all. Jacaerys ventured closer to the man as body swung to face him fully now, and he had enough restraint in himself to not choose that moment then and there to move to his lap and kiss the hell out of him until he was manhandled off or told to stop. But, even he had some patience when necessary.

Easy smile touched his lips, voice softer than it had been in the original question posed, “so you do like what you see, i was starting to wonder.” he paused for a moment, letting his own eyes grace across Tyr’s form, before speaking again, “you’re allowed to do more than just look, Tyr. if that’s, if I, am something you want.”
