Boy Meets World Sequel Ideas
Ā For all of you guys fangirlingĀ because the Boy Meets World sequel is potentially in the works, I have something that might hold you over until it comes out.
There's this k-drama called Reply 1997. You can watch the entire drama (16 episodes) on dramafever.com as Answer Me 1997. It basically centers around one girl and her group of friends at their high school reunion as they reminisce about their childhoods. It's better than this description seems. This drama is perfect in blending topics such as first love, teenage angst, and the importance of family into one beautiful spectacle of feelings. For the 90s kids, there's also nostalgia watching these characters flashback to a time where things were more simple: dial-up computers, vhsĀ tapes, and tomogachis. There's also a never-ending supply of laughter with this show. Think of it as my-so-called-life meets how I met your mother.Ā
Sound intriguing? That's basically because it fits very well with Boy Meets World and the show we all grew up with. It's the direction I hope this show takes in the sequel. Yes, I would love to watch an amazing comedy - but I also want something deep where they are take-awayĀ lessons as well - very much how Boy Meets World helped us cope with growing up during our lifetimes.
If this were the case, and even if it were on Disney - I would not mind. But it has to have substance. I'll leave you guys with some quotes from Reply 1997 to give you an idea of what I'd like to see.
