In the spirit of community, I’ve begun a personal initiative with my site to give back to the community in whatever ways I can. As some of you may know, in the past I’ve worked on a number of fundraisers to aid folks in the community. I’ve always believed in utilizing my own privileges to serve others.
To kick this off, I’ve connected with Colter Alexander, a trans masc person who is facing hardship and trying to raise money for his top surgery while surviving.
I’ve been in the same boat as Colter - couch surfing, dealing with an array of health issues while trying to make enough to find somewhere safe to exist, and all while dealing with a massive amount of dysphoria.
For the next month I’ll be selling a series of Fitness Challenges, Workout Programs, and a unique t-shirt. From these sales I’ll be donating 15% of the proceeds directly to Colter.
Every Friday I’ll crunch the numbers and show the donation receipts so that everyone knows exactly how much has been raised and can rest assured that it’s going directly to Colt.
