No but actually. I'm chronically offline most times. I'm also into urbex so naturally I'll be unavailable sometimes as my IRL adventures take me to places I can't use my phone or anything. I love exploring in general, I've been to some really cool places!

Mecha!Higgs and a S/O who at first rejects his new body
I mean, do you blame them?
Higgs was gone. Disappeared. Vanished. Swallowed by the void. And in his place? A hulking brute of a robot wearing his face and speaking his voice.
They hadn't ever had time to properly grieve him. He had no headstone, no funeral, and no body to hold as it faded to tar. He was just gone. He was here and then he wasn't.
So naturally, when they're approached by this mechanical monster that bears a striking resemblance to him... Why would they embrace it? It's all metal and silicone and wires. If they look close enough into his eyes they can see the can see the camera shutters, a pupil that's not quite round, a carefully-crafted illusion. There's no more lingering warmth below armor and gloves and leather. Just cold, rusting metal. He doesn't smell like Higgs anymore. Just of tar, lubricant, and ozone.
Robotic hands cradle their face and they don't even react, just wide eyes and trembling nerves. Staring at the white face over them. It has his eyes, his nose, his lips, but they're not quite right still. One side of his nose is a bit cooked if you look closely. He's got Higgs' crooked teeth, but they're too plastic-white now.
They speak about him as if he's not really there. They aren't cruel to this Thing, but they don't refer to it as they did Higgs. After all, he's rotting away in some crater somewhere... right?
But Higgs notices it all. Can't feel it all. But he notices it all the same.
