it isn't offense but confusion that has victoria looking up at samira, brow furrowed and head tilted to the side - considering the doctor as though she'd just said something puzzling. she'd expect that kind of observation from trinity (tinged with sarcasm and maybe accompanied by a smirk), but not so much samira. so she gives the doctor the benefit of the doubt, assuming that she'd spoken out of concern (because honestly, victoria feels like shit, so she can't imagine how she looks right now). so it's with a tight-lipped smile that she responds flatly, "thanks, it's this new aesthetic i'm trying." attempt at humor falling flat, she'll explain, "i've just been ... busy. turns out apartment hunting during exam season isn't such a good idea."

emmy nominee sepideh moafi iktr! also like … we all know how much i love cassie/fiona, but nominating her and not isa or supriya is kind of fucking ridiculous. like obv fiona did amazing with what she was given, but (imo) her performance wasn’t any more nomination worthy than isa’s or supriya’s.
